Eastin Hotel Vientiane Reviews

This has been my number one go to hotel in Vientiane for 3 years now, and it never disappoints. The staff is incredibly sweet, the rooms are spectacular with amazing rates, and the breakfast buffet is, hands down, the best I've experienced in Laos. They even have an app that you can download and install that makes ordering everything from room service, to basic amenities, to even yoga and fitness equipment delivered directly to your room, as easy as could possibly be, with an in-app chat feature that offers you direct, immediate communication with the staff for more specific, custom requests or questions. Honestly, I've never used a hotel app before, So I can't really compare to others, but this is pretty first rate. Also... They have a pool that overlooks the Mekong River, with an adjacent "splash bar" where you can order food and drinks just a few feet from your lounge chair. It also has a fantastic gym that features an aesthetically-cool lighting system that somehow makes me look really good. Not sure how they did that! 😂👍 It's also walking distance to the famous night market (a 25-minute walk), which puts it just out of the way enough to offer a relaxing stay-in environment for a quiet, productive or lazy night in the room. Did I mention it's a 6-minute drive to/from the airport? Ya, believe me, that comes in REAALLLLY handy when you need it!!

Lovely view over the river and good choices at breakfast. However, rooms were a little tired and could’ve done with a more substantive clean between guests (marks on surfaces and done hair). Location is a little further out of the centre of town, yet only a 30 minute stroll along the river to night market and easy to get transport to / from. Very convenient for airport.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. This hotel is a gem for the price. It’s conveniently located near the night market and within reasonable distance of touristy places as well as a myriad of coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating especially Xai who went above and beyond to assist me with booking a train ticket to VangVieng. The facilities are very well maintained , the place is exceptionally clean and the sunset view on the rooftop is top tier. Breakfast was good, I especially loved that they freshly squeezed/pressed your juice for you. 10’s across the board.

A new hotel with an emphasis on quality of accommodation and service. From arrival, the standard af service was excellent, from security, reception, cleaners, kitchen staff to bar staff. All were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure was very good, and the hotwater system was excellent with new fillings. Towels were large and luxurious. Pillows and the beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning system worked extremely well. Good size smart TV, which you could hook up to Netflix or other serviced if required. The pool was very good and clean, with covered seating available. The gym had all new equipment that worked perfectly. I also loved the pool bar for a chilled drink on a hot day. Breakfast was varied with a large range to choice from. I enjoyed the fresh cooked eggs, or pancakes cooked to your choosing. Lived being able to get fresh brewed coffee as well. The breakfast staff went out if there way to ensure you enjoyed your food. Can not fault the stay.

Nice hotel right in front of the Mekong river you can see Thailand in the opposite side of river. Nothing much going on in the area but only 5-10mins walk you can find restaurants in the evening and walk to night market along the river In room service food is great. They do have pool and gym and rooftop bar with happy hour option

Hotel is only 3 years old! It’s clean, nice layout, very friendly staff! The breakfast is very good, good location

Disappointing Stay – Overpriced and Poor Service The minibar was outrageously overpriced—one bottle of water cost three times more than a soda! We raised several concerns during our stay, but the manager showed no interest or effort to address them. The hot water wasn’t actually hot, and the “extra” breakfast was nearly $20 per person, which is simply not worth it. Overall, we were uncomfortable during our stay and definitely won’t be coming back.

I had a pleasant stay at Eastin Hotel Vientiane for 4 nights. Pleased with the amenities on site, not to mentioned the nice pool overlooking the Mekong River and a well equipped gym next to the pool. Breakfast was good, a mixed between local and western choices. Overall it was a good value, will return on my next trip to Vientiane.

The hotel is very new and the stuff can speak fluent English.

My favorite hotel In vientiane. The breakfast is delicious and the hotel offers a shuttle to the park and night market. Should I ever return to Laos again, I will still choose to stay in this hotel. A big thanks to the receptionist and the drivers 🙌
