We stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained.

As others have noted, there is a club next door that is open Fridays and Saturdays. You don't know this until you arrive and the ear plugs they give you are not the best. It didn't really bother us as we were so tired from travelling across country and exploring Vancouver all day, but to anyone just coming in, you might not be getting the best night's sleep.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. We took public transport from the airport, and it was just a 6-minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant street view from the window. What really impressed us was that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. They were incredibly welcoming and provided detailed recommendations for sightseeing and essential tips for exploring Vancouver independently. Absolutely fantastic!

Very friendly and helpful staffs, and got upgraded to a 2-bedrooms family suite. We were greeted everything we passed by the lobby. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and the decorations outside the hotel was amazing (esp the lights on the trees at night). Breakfast was top the top floor with a very nice view, however, limited seats available on the buffet area and need to walk some stair to an upper floor to find a seat.

The hotel has a good location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and right next to the Britannia Stadium. The room was relatively new and appeared clean and hygienic. However, many disposable amenities were missing, like slippers, which was a bit inconvenient.

We stayed here for 5 nights. They are in a great, if not the best, location in Vancouver. Next to Waterfront station where they have skytrain, seabus, buses and train. Also literally at Canada Place where they have free shuttle to Grouse Mountain and Capilano bridge. You can see the cruise, seaplane and helicopter from your room too. Minutes of walk to Gastown to see the stream clock. Best thing is, when you buy a fridge magnet of Vancouver, the hotel is part of the iconic building. Staffs are really friendly too, our room is always clean. If I have a complain, I'm just not very used to housekeeper's trolleys being 24/7 on appearance at the corridor of a 5-star hotel. Other than that, it's a near perfect stay. Loving the view from our room too.

We loved this place, very friendly and caring owner and manager who made sure we were taken care of before we moved in and after check out. The condo is very strategically located in Vancouver, easy access to all areas by public transport or walking. Good view from the condo. There is a very big oriental supermarket and Costco nearby. Great for grocery shopping; we had everything in the kitchen for home cooked meals too. Chinatown is within walking distance, plenty of food in the area from all international cuisines.

The hotel is conveniently located and the front desk is helpful. It was however no good to have a stranger knocking on my door asking to check the smoke alarm in my room without prior notice from the hotel. I had let the unaccompanied stranger in at my own risk (single woman) which was bad. Feedback to the uniform staff in the hotel and was told nothing can be done which is disappointing.

Dear Hotel Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn/Hilton in Vancouver and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience with the front desk team. Unfortunately, I found the level of service to be below the usual high standards I associate with the Hampton Inn/Hilton brand. Specifically: I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on December 15, 2024, and was informed by the front desk staff that I could not sit in the lobby because my check-in time was 3:00 p.m. The staff member's approach felt dismissive, and I was asked to leave the lobby, which was disappointing after a long journey. Upon arrival, I even cant not have a cup of water, and it was not provided. Is this due to hotel policy, or was it an oversight? Basic services such as offering water to arriving guests are often considered a courtesy and can greatly improve the guest experience. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed inattentive during check-in and did not address my concerns effectively. This lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome. I understand that managing guest interactions can sometimes be challenging, but I believe addressing these issues could significantly improve the experience for future guests. Review hotel We recently stayed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver and had a great experience. The hotel's location is very convenient, situated right in the downtown Vancouver. It made exploring the city and accessing public transportation very easy. Our room was spacious, big space, clean, and well-appointed with a kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea. The staff at Century Plaza were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any requests, which enhanced our stay even further. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant C|Prime, which served delicious Italian meals with a good variety of options. Overall, our stay at Century Plaza Hotel was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to the city!
