Hotels with Breakfast in Valletta

The hotels in Valletta are all on the slopes. Up a few hills, the hotel is next to a Japanese bar. The front desk is a bit small, but the front desk staff is very welcoming and provides wine and water. The room has everything it needs. Eating on the 7th floor, the view is very good and the wind is very strong. Breakfast is also available. We were given a very rich breakfast on the day we had to catch a flight. Special thanks to the employee who fixed my selfie stick. Good review!

This is a very warm hotel, although the scale is not very large, but it is very warm and clean. The most unexpected thing is to provide slippers. There is also a good coffee inside. Especially cappuccino. I really like it. The front desk staff was very welcoming. People really feel at home. The breakfast is also very rich and is cooked to order. Give 5 stars a good rating.

The hotel is next to the old town and a two-minute walk to the old town. The hotel is opposite the bus departure station, making it convenient in transportation. The hotel pool is superb, the garden is awesome, and the room is clean and comfortable.

The hotel is very comfortable and the location is quite good. One hundred meters away from the city center, the hotel staff is very friendly and especially likes the hotel. It is very rich in the morning and can bring children. I hope that Chinese tourists can whisper a little, can close the door and make a small noise. It is better to think about others. Thank you! The people here are very friendly and there are smiles everywhere.

We booked the Rosselli through a well known and reputable travel agent. Our stipulation for a twin room was on the booking, followed up by us on a phone call to the hotel - 'Twin room - no problem' they said. We also sent an email. On arrival despite what reception said, the room was a double. 'Must be housekeeping - nothing we can do' was reception's stance. The next day, the reason given for the failure was that people who book through a third party are difficult to get hold of!!. I interpreted this that rooms booked through a travel agent are given less priority than those booked direct. Compensation was a free drink which was denied initially as no one had made a note of it. The first room was a rather gloomy dark marble, too many gadgets, no door on the bathroom and an automatic light in the toilet that went out while you sat! The mattress protector seemed to be old and crackled as you turned over in bed. Biscuits in the room bar were an astronomical price (we only found the price list elsewhere). I am probably getting a bit nit picky here but it all added up. The hotel moved us to another room half way through and this room was excellent. On the plus side, the hotel location is very central and I couldn't fault the majority of the staff. Breakfast outside was great with friendly and helpful service. The rooftop bar was excellent (when open) and the wine talk was superb. The second room was excellent and had a complementary bottle of local wine This hotel was very expensive and it was a special occasion for us - would we stay here again? Sorry but the answer is 'No'.

I stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly. The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible. Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together. Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.

It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them. For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering. Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite. Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

The central position of Castille Hotel makes it possible to reach every location of interest in a couple of minutes, as it is near the Barrakka Gardens and a short walk away from the main streets with restaurants and shops, churches, and the harbour - not to mention the bus stop, a mere 10 minutes walk away. The room, classical in style, had a view on the harbour. What was really amazing was the breakfast, available on the rooftop: not only was it abundant, but also varied, and really good. The staff was readily available, nice, and made it possible to check-in before the arranged arrival time. The only thing I'd change was the shower in the room, as it didn't have a box, but a curtain, and the number of sockets (a couple more would be appreciated).

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely boutique hotel. Perfectly positioned in old Valetta, the building has been beautifully refurbished to provide the utmost comfort whilst retaining it's charm. The Staff are all wonderful and very attentive, even bringing my husband a birthday cake at breakfast on his special day! The facilities and spa are also spot on. Breakfasts are delicious with a choice of cereal, bread, fruit, meats and cheeses plus you can have something freshly prepared from the A La Carte Menu. There are loads of amazing restaurants within easy walking distance (recommend 59 Republic, Trabuxu and The Ortygia). Don't bother with hiring a car: it's really easy to use the Bolt Taxis and they are also very reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend this as a gorgeous place to stay!
