The scenery is beautiful, the rooms are huge, and the cave hotel is special. The breakfast options are diverse, there is an outdoor open-air area, and the photography is first-rate. There is also a parking lot for self-driving travelers. The environment is quiet, there are many stars at night, it is a very relaxing place.

The hotel staff and owners of the hotel are very sweet people who welcomed us very well during my stay at the hotel. We extended one night because we liked to stay for two days in the hotel. The breakfast nearby was beautiful, but it was delicious, even if it was not on the menu. Our room was clean every day. Our ladders changed every day, we recommend a place where you will be happy when you are going. Your size may be 175 and six for the rooftop 😊

The room is really nice. The whole hotel is very good. Someone will show you the hotel facilities before checking in. The toiletries are all from BV. The most valuable place to take pictures and check in is the swimming pool. The constant temperature is 27 degrees. Don’t worry! The waiters are very nice! A taxi from Goreme costs 320 lira

The location is central and very good. Easy to reach. The rooms are spacious and clean enough. The pool is small, it looks bigger in the pictures. The breakfast is sufficient. You can have dinner at its own restaurant, the view is beautiful. A good accommodation choice in terms of price performance.

My only complaint was that the concierge service at the reception hasn’t quite settled yet. It’s a new hotel, its facilities, rooms, etc. are in good condition. But we couldn’t get any help from the reception for renting a car, or a restaurant recommendation for dinner. They even had a hard time transferring the phone to room service… even if it wasn’t a problem, it was an amateurish, unpleasant moment. I think the staff had just arrived from out of town and there wasn’t a concierge infrastructure yet. I liked the location of the hotel. If you’re going for the “Cappadocia experience”, Ortahisar is a bit far from the other attractions in the city. And transportation is only possible with the village shuttles that don’t know when they’ll pass, or with your own vehicle. But as the name suggests, it’s actually a logical choice as it’s in the middle of everything and away from the chaos. * My only complaint was that the concierge service at the reception hasn’t quite settled yet. It’s a new hotel, and the facilities and rooms are in good condition. But we couldn’t get any real help from the front desk—neither with renting a car nor with restaurant recommendations. They even struggled to transfer a call to room service... Not a big deal, but it felt a bit unprofessional and took away from the experience. I guess the staff is also new to the area, and the concierge setup isn't fully in place yet. I did like the location of the hotel. If you're coming for the “Cappadocia experience,” Ortahisar is a bit away from the city's main attractions. The only way to get around is either by car or with local shuttle buses that don't really run on a clear schedule. But then again, as the name suggests, it's actually in the middle of everything—and staying away from the crowds can be a plus. So overall, it's a reasonable choice.

The location of the hotel was a bit awkward. We got the room for its jacuzzi tub, but it was very small and not ideally clean. The staff was ok. 

Beautiful, unique, well-managed hotel with a complete set of amenities including delicious breakfast, scenic pool, and comfortable spa. There is a golf cart shuttle that brings you around the resort, and we were picked up always within 2-3 minutes of calling the front desk - even at 3:30am for our hot air balloon ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONTACTING THE HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES AS THE FAMILY THAT OWNS THE HOTEL OWNS ROYAL BALLOONS, which is the premier balloon company. I really wanted to book with Royal but they were booked out online for several weeks. When I arrived to the hotel, they had spaces available for their guests.

This is really the best hotel in Cappadocia! The hotel is even more beautiful than shown on the pictures and (all!) employees are friendly and goodwill. Further, we loved the concept as every detail of the hotel is well thought off and the standard of hygiene is a 10/10. The breakfast very varied and delicious as all served was organic (self made and harvested) and all our wishes were always fulfilled with a smile on the face! We would like to thank the whole AJWA team (especially Nur Hanim, Musa and Onur bey, Orhan and Mehmet Chef) an unforgettable time and will definitely come again!
