It’s a nice quaint hotel located along a narrow street. Location is good as it is within walking distance to most attractions in the city. Breakfast was included, we had it on two days and it was different. There is pain au chocolat, crepe with nutella and fried egg. Room is on the smaller side. Some inconveniences such as not having bedside table on both sides. No hanging space for towels. We got a room on the 5th floor, but without much of a view. Overall for the price point I would recommend this hotel.

When traveling alone, I don't have very high requirements for accommodation. It just needs to be clean and have a private bathroom. The Swissotel is in a very good location, near the train station and only a few hundred meters from Medina, in a small alley next to the main road. During the day, I saw cleaners cleaning the path in front of the door, but at night there would be a lot of garbage on the road. This has something to do with the national character of this country. People are used to throwing garbage on the ground. This is not the hotel's fault. The interior of the hotel is very clean. Go right from the hotel and there is a big trash can at the intersection. At night, it is often overturned and scattered with garbage. If you want to go to the supermarket to buy things, you must pass by this trash can. This may be the reason for the bad surrounding environment mentioned in some comments. The breakfast is different every day, simple and delicious. It is 8 kilometers from the hotel to the airport, and it costs 8 dinars to take a metered taxi. But from the airport to the hotel, you will be charged 25 dinars. The toilet in the room I stayed in did not have a toilet seat, and I could discuss changing rooms with the hotel.

Located in the city center, north of Chang'an Avenue in Tunisia, west of Medina Market, south of the railway station, 15 minutes from the airport, convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. The hotel is in a small alley, clean and tidy, and meets the standards of domestic Orange and All Seasons, but the bed is very small and the sound insulation is not very good, and there are no other shortcomings. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the whole Tunisia is warm and hospitable all the way, I like it very much. Going to the airport in the early morning, it’s good to ask the front desk to call a taxi (Uber and Careem can’t be used), 15 yuan to the airport (the price in the early morning), and a taxi to the ruins of Carthage takes 20 minutes and 10 yuan. There is a relatively large supermarket on the west side of the road to the north, and the baguettes sold are delicious.

After getting off the plane, I took a day off and chose a hotel in the old town. Because it was my first time here, I didn't expect the streets to be so narrow. It's not very convenient to drive in, and you need to park in the paid parking lot next to it. The front desk can communicate in English, but the system is a bit old, and it took a long time to swipe my order. In addition, they don't provide twin rooms, so my brother had to sleep on the sofa bed. But if it's a family of three, it's very convenient. Because there is a sofa bed! The breakfast is very European. Overall, it's a good review.

The hotel is located near the train station in Tunis, so it is easily accessible, but it is a little hard to find because it is located in an alley. There are local markets and supermarkets nearby, and a short walk will take you to Tunis' main street lined with cafes. It is also less than 10 minutes from the French Gate, which is the entrance to the Medina, making it convenient for sightseeing. The room is clean and has all the basic amenities except for the lack of a refrigerator. The breakfast is repetitive, so you may get bored if you stay multiple nights.

The surrounding environment is very bad, mosquitoes are flying everywhere, and the streets are dirty and smelly. The hotel room is ok, but the bedding is pilling 😂. The hotel is in a good location, close to the train station and convenient to Sousse. The hotel is very new. Although the room is not big, it is fully equipped, clean and tidy, and there is plenty of hot water for bathing. The staff are very welcoming. They serve coffee upon entering and even help call a taxi after checking out.
