Came to town for a concert and chose the Hilton for its proximity to Moody Center and lovely photos of the property. From the moment we pulled in and were greeted by the valet staff, to checking in with Chris Hartfield (sp?) at the front desk, we knew we’d picked the right place. Chris was very welcoming and even worked to get us into a larger room which was not available online. He was so kind, gave us information to help us with our evening around town and made us feel at home. Our room was clean and spacious, the decor was nice and beds/bedding was very comfortable. We chose to take a Lyft to the event but took a nice walk thru Austin on the way back to enjoy the city. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is located on Second Street in downtown Austin, and the surrounding transportation and food are very convenient. There are many restaurants, but there is no Chinese food. In addition, the breakfast in the hotel is average, and there is no European hotel number.

Was there for Formula 1 and Georgia/Texas football game. So things were crowded and people overworked - but the hotel and especially the restaurant shined. ATX restaurant is far more than you would expect from an upscale hotel. Food is excellent, unusual but still regional blend of Texas and Italy. Breakfast tacos, smoked omelettes, and at dinner reddish, manzanilla salad, grilled cauliflower. Servers Monica and Rana have the whole place under control, and breakfast chef Delfino is a master. You will be amazed at how good this place is.

This was a first staying at a Canopy by Hilton; what an amazing location! From the minute of walking in the front door, you are met with a ”fresh breath of air” ambiance! The staff, especially Leonard, Heidi, and Jordyn, taking care of every detail of my stay was perfection...great attention to detail, professionalism, and personality!! Every detail from the cleanliness of the room, the bar, and Verbena (the restaurant) was fantastic! You MUST have dinner at Verbana. Highly recommended for a quick weekend stay or a stayation in downtown Austin.

The hotel was just what we needed when we went to Austin for the NASCAR races at COTA. I accidentally left some clothes in the closet when we checked out. I contacted the hotel and advised them of this. They said they would send them to me if I sent them a shipping label. I did and they sent them. I would like to specifically thank one employee - Jeremiah. He went above and beyond to help me out with getting my clothes back. He returned calls and called me when he said he would.
