Totsukawa Hotels with Pools

I wanted to enjoy Yoshino's hanami and see the suspension bridge of tanase, so I asked to stay at totsugawa Onsen hot spring. I asked Sansui to stay. The appearance feels a bit old, but the inside is very new and clean, hygienic and clean. The room is large. The toilet washroom is joint, but it is close to the room, so I don't feel any inconvenience at all. The hot spring was two rental baths (no reservation, no additional fee) and a large bath (one inner bath, two open-air baths). The rental bath is a log house, and it is hot and it was not put in if it did not put water. The large bath is large and the clear flow is seen from the open-air bath. The hot water is black and a large amount of hot water flowers. It smells sulfur and is a good hot water. The meal is good, all very delicious, and the vessels and the platter are beautiful. There's not much food yet, and even if you ask for a child's meal, you can't eat it, and you ask for a child's futon at night, you finally get into my futon, and you never use a futon at all. Because there were many 々, this time I asked the inn without a child futon without a meal. Nevertheless, during the morning and evening meals, we prepared pack vegetable juice and sprinkler dessert, and we also lent yukata for children, and we also prepared pillows for children. I was very happy with the color 々. Everyone in the inn is kind and very attractive, so I wanted to go again soon. I will definitely visit you again.

Lake view from room is superb and hotel staff is fantastic. Room has no shower tub so guests must use the public onsen, which can be cleaner like all common area (maybe it is the age of the hotel showing). Outdoor onsen is lovely, but English information is lacking on how to access it, like all facilities here since the staff speaks no English and no English hotel manuals are provided. Hotel did not provide dinner service during my stay and there was only one Okonomiyaki restaurant nearly. Mosquitos galore in my room and I was bitten all over (probably due to the lakeside location); even the anti-mosquito solution provided by the hotel did not help. Even considering the higher room price, it is a treat to visit this amazingly beautiful, remote corner of Japan.

Overall very satisfied 👍 Japanese-style independent villa, equipped with indoor and outdoor hot springs, the small courtyard design is beautiful and warm. Dinner is not bad. Breakfast is slightly monotonous and I hope to improve. Located in the central mountainous area of the peninsula, the traffic is not very convenient, but the rugged mountain road by car in the past has a unique scenery.

Excellent location, just around 3 minutes walk from Nara kotsu totsukawa onsen bus stop. Service and food are excellent, as with my limited Japanese, they can still show me around with the amenities. The place is clean, it’s just that it’s a minshuku, some amenities need to share, like toilet and washing basin. They have very good onsen, really can relief the fatigue end of day. Overall good
