Wuzhen Club House Reviews

It was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.  We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel. For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel  is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.  With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.  It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.  Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on.  I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.  Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.  The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.  When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.  We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).  As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

Hotel room is very pretty, and it is well maintained. Thanks to Xiao Hua who is our main person in charge throughout our trip. They provide top notch services. Will definitely be back again if i go again. Thanks to the friendly team as well.

An absolutely delightful experience at Wuzhen Shinetown clubhouse. Staff were amazingly attentive and welcoming. I had just stayed at the JW Marriott in Shanghai and I can confidently say their service is superior. Clubhouse is located in a very central location in Wuzhen so access to everything was super convenient. The restaurant food was one of the other highlight of the stay. Even if you don’t stay I highly recommend you make a special trip to their restaurant.

The hotel is located in the scenic area, which is very convenient for travel. The old house is quaint and the breakfast quality is also very good.

Wuzhen Jintang Hotel NT$6770 Originally Wuzhen Shengting Hotel, it was upgraded due to construction. From the welcome tea and fruit upon entering, to the exquisite rooms, the view outside the window, the radish field in winter, and the foot bath in the guest room at night, the breakfast is a Chinese-American all-you-can-eat order, and the yellow croaker noodles are as delicious as pork bone soup! There are many choices of meals and they are exquisite. There is also Dingsheng cake without queuing, and the yogurt cereals are sweet and crunchy. All enjoy honorable treatment ❣ Jinyan•Ingenious Zhejiang Cuisine The price is high, the crab roe, lobster and tofu stew is so delicious, every bite is smooth and full❣

The old store was renovated and upgraded to a new store. The environment is very good and the service is very good. The housekeeper Xiao Li is gentle and considerate. There are fruits, desserts, and night bed service when you check in. It is comfortable and considerate to soak your feet after shopping. The breakfast is also very good. Due to the upgrade and maintenance of Shengting, I finally stayed in Jintang Hotel. The experience was excellent. I stayed in a room with a balcony facing the water. The housekeeper Xiao Deng was very enthusiastic and the service was warm. The breakfast in the hotel tasted good and I ate a lot. I recommend the sour soup beef noodles and yellow croaker noodles. I also experienced the morning tea at my own expense and experienced breakfast on both sides. Wuzhen gave me a very comfortable feeling overall, and the hotel was a plus.

The service was very good. We had a lot of luggage with our children and the hotel contacted the housekeeper to pick us up. It was very considerate to help transport the luggage. Check-in was also very smooth. The front desk staff and all the service staff I met were very warm and thoughtful. The room was very large, the suite was double-decker, the bedding was very comfortable, and the decoration style was also beautiful. I had a pleasant night in Wuzhen. Thank you to all the staff~

The room is nice and the location is right in the scenic area, making it very convenient to go out and stroll around Xizha Street.

The service was very good. Before the trip, a private butler had contacted us to confirm the arrival time and waited in advance. I would like to thank Ms. Li Lingfang, the butler of this trip. After getting off the car, she took us directly to the shuttle bus, which saved a lot of trouble. The customer-first principle was implemented throughout the entire trip. The environment and facilities of the hotel are very good. It is also located in the center of Wuzhen

Because Shengting was under maintenance this time, Wuzhen officials helped us upgrade to Jintang Mansion for free. Both Jintang and Shengting were renovated from old houses of wealthy families. They can feel the ancient charm and modern convenience. Whether it is equipment, food or service, they are all high-end. Miss Yu Min, the housekeeper of Jintang, was very enthusiastic to connect with us and actively helped us solve various problems encountered during the trip. She was very considerate. This trip experience was perfect💯

I was very satisfied with this trip to Wuzhen! The environment of Jintang Hotel is very comfortable. You can see the dragon-shaped field from the window. Although there are no rape flowers blooming yet, the air is very fresh and quiet. At the same time, it is located on the main road, which is convenient for going everywhere. The breakfast and afternoon sweet soup are also delicious and full. The itinerary housekeeper Yaoyao answered questions very patiently and went to the tourist service center to wait. Along the way, he enthusiastically introduced Wuzhen while carrying the luggage. I will choose to stay here next time I come to Wuzhen!

We originally booked a superior king-size bed room at Shengting Hotel, but due to hotel problems, we were proactively upgraded to a more expensive courtyard view room at Jintang Hotel, and then we were arranged a room with a very good view. We drove to Wuzhen by ourselves, and a housekeeper was waiting for us in the garage, helping us carry our luggage throughout the journey. There was freshly brewed roselle tea and hot hand towels when we checked in, welcome desserts in the room, and room service was responsive. When we went out to play, they would proactively help open the door and enthusiastically show us the way. The overall feeling was very good. We brought our children with us, and the night bed service originally only had two foot bath buckets, and they added another one for us. The guests staying at the Zaocha Hotel can swipe their orders unlimitedly, and when they leave, they can help check their luggage to the service center. We had a good rest, stayed in the scenic area, and enjoyed a particularly quiet morning. Next time I come to Wuzhen, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
