The room was quite spacious, and we found our 4-night stay very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, not one of those overly soft types. The location was excellent, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven stores conveniently located nearby. In fact, there's a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor of the hotel – it couldn't be more convenient! The hotel is very close to the subway station. You can easily walk to Shinjuku to catch a train, or take one from Tochomae Station. The hotel had quite a few international guests, and we were pleased to find a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. The daily housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a very clean, pleasant, and comfortable stay.

Hotel lobby is on the 8th floor but the lift up to the lobby is quite slow. Room space is good compared with other hotels in Tokyo. Overall the hotel room is good except the toilet at the hotel lobby and the environment outside the building where you can see many sleeping on the roadside etc. Very crowded during weekends.

The hotel was very clean, and the service of staff was excellent especially up at the rooftop bar.
Facilities wise the only thing I could fault them on was only having 2 washer/dryer machines. It a big hotel with a lot of guests so managing to use the washing/drying machines was hard work.
Location although quiet it was not the best having to walk through the ********* ******** practically every time you were heading back from the train station area. In the end I began walking right around to avoid the constant hassle from the touts.
Views from the rooftop bar were outstanding.

Abit old but overall spacious for solo and even couples. Very comfortable and literally next to the metro. Staff was nice and allowed storage of luggage on check-out day. Amenities like cotton buds and cotton pads, were also provided and can be taken at lobby.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at **Prince Hotel Shinjuku, Japan**, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is simply perfect — situated right in the heart of Shinjuku, it offers easy access to shopping areas, dining, entertainment, and most importantly, convenient transportation links that make exploring Tokyo effortless.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always courteous, professional, and attentive to every detail. Their hospitality truly made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights after long days of exploring. I also appreciated the modern amenities, including fast Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom. The housekeeping team deserves praise for maintaining everything in pristine condition daily.
What truly stood out was the variety of facilities and services. The hotel offers excellent dining options with delicious food, and breakfast was always a highlight, featuring both Japanese and international selections. The atmosphere throughout the property was elegant yet relaxing, making it a great place to unwind.
I also felt very safe and secure within the hotel, which is always an important factor when traveling abroad. Every aspect of the service was seamless — from check-in and check-out to assistance with directions and local recommendations.
Overall, **Prince Hotel Shinjuku exceeded my expectations** in every possible way. It’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and top-notch hospitality in Tokyo. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

The E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku in Tokyo proved to be a fantastic choice for my recent stay! Its location couldn't be more convenient, being right next to the metro station made exploring Shinjuku and the rest of Tokyo incredibly easy.
I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent room service – prompt and efficient. The information staff were also incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any questions.
The only minor drawback, and this is quite common in Tokyo, was the size of the room. It was on the smaller side, but it was impeccably clean, well-designed to maximize space, and perfectly adequate for my needs.
Overall, the E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku's prime location, outstanding service, and friendly staff more than compensated for the compact room size. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base in the heart of Shinjuku.
Out of the four hotels I stayed at in Tokyo (ranging from 3-star to 5-star, I booked one of each), this was easily the worst. The front desk service was subpar compared to other hotels. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, the facilities and bedding felt more like a 2.5-star property, even worse than some 3-star hotels. During my multi-day stay, the room was never cleaned. The bed itself also wasn't very comfortable.
I booked this hotel based on its 4-star rating. While I wasn't expecting all the amenities like a gym that other 4-star hotels typically offer (that wasn't my main concern), the actual in-room facilities bore no resemblance to a 4-star standard.
The room was very small, and the main issue was the poor natural light; despite having a window, it was surprisingly dim. Of course, other hotel rooms can also be small, but they often have a more practical layout.
The only advantages were its proximity to the subway station and the complimentary juice.
Highly recommended! This hotel is in a great location, close to the train station, shopping malls, Donki, and several nearby restaurants. It’s also within walking distance to the Shinjuku area.

Located in bustling Shinjuku, though it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku subway station. The service was only adequate, and the street level downstairs felt a bit chaotic. On the plus side, it's fantastic for both shopping and dining, and the area truly comes alive at night.

JJanetskGreat place. Location near to shijuku sanchrome station exit E1/ E2 or Metro station Higashi-shinjuku station. If you need to go via Shinjuku main station or odayu station, you need walj 19min ir u if know cut throw lane, it will take about 12 min.
They offered bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast. The coffee is nice. 7-9pm they also offer us free flow of liquor like red wine, sake, etc.
Staff was friendly and fluent in English.

LlolssonFamily room was a good size for 2 adults and 1 child. Kitchen had enough utensils to prepare a basic meal / breakfast which is what we needed it for. Location was a bit of a walk from the station but lots of food options nearby. Walking distance to most Shinjuku sights and check in /check out was very smooth. Staff were friendly and helpful if you needed to know anything.

SSoloTravelAnnaI stayed at this hostel for the second time (in 2025 and 2023), and it seemed much more social this time. The breakfast has improved significantly and now offers more choices, although there still aren't enough tables and chairs.
The bathrooms and showers are good, and the showers provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel! However, the plugs by the beds only have one USB port, which is a bit inconvenient.
We ordered takeout from Domino's down the street and intended to eat in the communal area, but by 10 PM on Saturday night, it was crowded with people drinking, leaving no room for us to eat. That was a bit disappointing.
But overall, it's a great hostel! I would recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

GGloriaI highly recommend this location for all tourists or business travelers. It is in downtown Tokyo and a nice neighborhood; there are many Michelin-starred restaurants nearby. The common area is very clean, not like what Google reviews mentioned. My friend and I had a good time there. The room design is also very modern and stylish.
Attached a few photos for your reference.
GGuest UserThe hotel environment is very good, clean and quiet, the only drawback is that it is a bit far from the subway. It was a bit troublesome to check in for the first time. The hotel was slow to send the entry number. We had to wait for an hour, but the environment was really good.
PPeechayadaThe location of the accommodation is good, close to the train station, convenient for traveling. The only downside is that there is no elevator and the entrance to the accommodation is gravel.
