KOKO HOTEL Residence Asakusa Tawaramachi Reviews

The location actually is not far from ueno station (JR Line) ~ and Asakusa Station (Toei Line dan Ginza line) But the nearest station is Tawaramachi from the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. You can walk to Asakusa sensoji Temple from here~ Enjoy around while walking to Sensoji Temple so you feel bored. Combini Store is everywhere too~ Of course 7.11 is the nearest one. The reception is very helpful. They are come from different country~ and they got water filter too~ it is really help us a lot who love to drink water ~ The Aminities is really good too. Free coffee, black tea, green tea and chocolate drinks too. Really recommend it when traveling with family, small kids. You can rent baby stoller too if you want. baby high chair for eat. Video game or card game too. The room around the kitchen have to clean properly please because there is a lot of dust and maybe the carpet too~ The tatami room is very good. The kids really like it.

We are a family of 4 - with 2 adults a s 2 teenaged children . We were given a free upgrade and the room is clean and spacious for 4 of us. Easily accessible by train (around 1-2 mins walk) and many many eateries nearby.

I would recommend it but they need ventilations in the toilet, at least in our room. Service personnel are generally nice but doesn’t seem to be happy. We like the roominess and newness of the amendies such as fully kitchen and washer/dryer for the price.

The check in time is very strict however the reception is very accomodating and helps keeping the luggage when we arrive around 11am. There is no lobby for the hotel and you can only enter the room as per time stated. The best part is we get a free upgrade for this trip and the space is awesome for the family of 4. Generally this is highly recommended if you are looking for activities around Asakusa and Ueno

The hotel is very dark. Light hardly penetrates into the rooms through 2 small windows that look directly into the neighboring building. The soundproofing is poor. You can hear neighbors in the corridor, you can hear stomping in the neighboring rooms. And if you live not on the top floor, and above you will be a noisy family, it will be unreal to sleep at all because of the stomping, which is not removed by earplugs. You can stay there for a couple of days, but no more. We left early, they refused to refund our money. We will not stay there again. The hotel offers water in exchange for reviews, so the rating is inflated.

Superb location, 2mins walk to subway! Room is big by local standards, full equipped and good size for family. Loved the washer dryer, it is so quiet you hardly hear the spin! Amenities avail at reception including coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Walking distance to sensoji and Asakusa area with lots of food options and shopping. Only downside would be the blinds in the room as light penetrates through so for those who needs complete darkness to sleep could be a negative. Nothing to complain and my family simply love this hotel!

The patch was so good

It's a cozy place. Very conducive for our family of 5. Just a stone throw away from train station and convenience store. And this is our view from our window..so great!

All are good except there is only one lift and the lift is always packed during peak hour. As there is only one toilet so it is not too convenient for large families. Apartment is clean and near to metro station, just one station away from Asakusa station. We use the washing machine daily with dryer function and we love it very much.

The hotel is very good and clean, all the staff is very kind and helpful. They wait me until midnight to check in. Thanks koko hotel for your kind and nice. Its happy to stay here, near the tawaramachi station.

Lovely apartment hotel in a less crowded part of Tokyo. Washing machine in room was a huge plus, housekeeping only done once every 3 days.

Fantastic stay!!! Modern feel. Every part of the room is clean!!! Friendly and helpful staff. Train station is just a stone away! Room can view Skytree tower. Washing machine + dryer 👍 Highly recommended!!
