Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park & Motels

We stayed in our hired campervan for 3 nights. It is a very clean and well maintained site with nice views over the lake, a 15 minute walk from the facilities of Te Anau. The shower blocks are very clean and warm and well equipped with hairdryers etc. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, for example for our walk to the Kepler Track nearby, and in booking a Milford Sound Cruise for us at no extra cost.

Probably the nicest campground I’ve stayed in. Posh toilets for a campground. Toilets and showers were very clean. Lovely hot showers. Beautiful roses everywhere around the grounds. Peaceful place with good private spaces for camping. Pretty area to eat outside and watch the sunset. Great value for money. Minor negative: the toilets could do with two ply rather than single ply toilet paper. It ripped very easily and made it awkward to use.

The rooms are well appointed and presented. Stayed here two nights whilst visiting the area. Check in was friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious and well set out. Plenty of parking. Able to park in front of room.

A bannir
Marakura Deluxe Motel

Warm, spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable I've had on this trip, the heat pump had the room toasty on arrival. Kitchenette was perfect and had everything I needed to cook a meal. Gorgeous view of the lake and town, very close to the bird sanctuary and and easy walk to the centre. Feels separate from the holiday park and a really good value for money deal.
