Set on a private estate near historic Tavira, this former farm house has been converted into a beautiful country getaway, nestled amongst almond and olive trees. Just a short drive from attractions such as the Roman Bridge of Tavira, Monte Do Álamo offers a small number of individually furnished rooms. Wake up to the scent of flowers floating into your room from the garden. Enjoy breakfast outside on a sunny day. While you sample regional deliciacies, your hosts can arrange horse-riding trips or other activities. Both rental bikes and packed lunches are available upon request. After a long day you can return to Monte do Álamo for an evening to remember. Soak up the evening sun in a hammock. Later, you can relax in front of the fireplace in the lounge or watch the sunset from your balcony.

The hotel is a spectacular place to relax, very quiet and welcome. Excellent local, with all the essential to rest in the field, but at the same time very close to the sea (excellent beaches).

I had booked an apartment and was upgraded to a cottage. The buildings and equipment are ”typical of the country”. The kitchen provided the essentials, but almost everywhere there were no sharp knives or rags. Inside the building is cool, which corresponds to the outside temperature: the heating/air conditioning unit warms the air. The walls and floors were cold these two days. In midsummer, that's certainly pleasant, but not in early March. The location of the resort is great! The service and friendliness of the staff! will i come back Always happy in warm seasons.

Good Hotel at a reasonable price. The part we stayed in was clean and modern, nice spacious room. I liked the spa - Sauna / steam room / Jacuzzi and the breakfast was good. However no room service, and lunch / dinner seemed to be an all you can eat buffet, which is fine if thats your thing. Pool looked a bit of an odd colour and I couldn't find the gym. However overall worth the money and enjoyed our stay, would come back.

Good location, very calm and relaxing place, with small houses scattered throughout the pine forest. Very good for those traveling with animals. The pool is a little far away for those staying in the furthest houses. Cleaning is very basic and the staff were not very friendly.
