Taupo Hotels with Airport pickup service

Although it is only a hostel, the configuration of the executive room is comparable to that of a high-end hotel. The room is very large and has a balcony. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, but it is not far from the center of Taupo. Restaurants, supermarkets, and gas stations are all around, and the price is very high. , The hostel has a lot of free parking spaces, basically no need to park on the side of the road, I will choose this place next time when I travel by car in Taupo

The Great Lake Motel Taupo has been a fantastic experience for us. The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. She helped us with our laundry; we needed our laundry to be done express, she allowed us to use their own dryer which was a lot faster and more powerful. A super nice lady :) The location of the motel is superb, it is within few minutes walk to the town center where there were many great eateries; it is also right in front of the lake Taupo and the ”ILOVELAKETAUPO” sign. The room was in a very clean state and well set-up. In addition, the jacuzzi was amazing with full bubble function. We usually hesitate to use hotel's jacuzzi due to hygiene, but the Great Lake Motel was super clean and we felt very comfortable. We stayed at this place right after our big hike at the Tangariro. So the bubbly jacuzzi hit the spot :) All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely come back to this place whenever we are in lake Taupo again. Highly recommended!

It was very comfortable stay. It met our expectations as adverstised. The hosts were very friendly. Our kids had a banter or two with them. Our kids left a review and drew a picture of him. I should say he was really impressed with it (not really :-) )I left some of my belongings when I checked out. They were kind enough to remind me about it. I sent them a return courier and got all of my stuffs a few days later.

Very good, very good car hotel, very clean, bath water is very good, the boss also prepares coffee, tea, coco, as well as milk, sugar. The room can accommodate 2 adults and one child. The quilt is thick and thin and sleeps well.

Recently stayed here for only one night but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were made feel welcome upon our arrival and also provided recommendations for dinner. We enjoyed an abundant continental breakfast in a wonderful dining room with a view. Rooms were well appointed with a fabulous view from the veranda. A cheese platter was also provided at check in which was great to have a nibble on the veranda and admire the fantastic view. Would definitely recommend.

It is really wise to choose this one! The hotel is on the edge of Lake Taupo, because of the high terrain, overlooking the entire Lake Taupo! The room that I live in can be in the morning to watch the sunrise in the bed, really can't be any better! Under the blue sky, the landlord carefully prepared for us to go early, sit at the lake and enjoy the sunny breakfast, and take a shot, it is a postcard! The hotel, the room, including the bathroom are so pleasant surprises, and the most memorable thing for me and my friends in the entire New Zealand hotel is here! After breakfast, the enthusiastic landlord also drove us to go nearby to play, people are very good! Because of this hotel, people here, I fell in love with Taobao, and miss everything here! I hope that my friends will be the same and have a good memory!

WOW!!! what a great place from the minute we got there we were greeted with great service especially the lady at reception she was so lovely and took the time with the kids was a great first impression, when we arrived to the apartment we were amazed at the lovely house with a view is was so nice and clean we had a massive kitchen and lounge which was great as we use that area the most and don’t get me started on the pool area it was so nice we had so much fun in there and it was the perfect temperature not to hot not to cold me and my family had such an amazing time and will definitely be staying again, from a teens point of view this is one of the best places to stay with the most amazing managers.

Been meaning to stay for years as rest of family have many times. Loved it, BUT....... security needs updating. Maybe they are doing that as toilet security door was missing and so was front access barrier! Had some very suspect people using toilet and shower facilities this morning. Definitely didn't look like guest and didn't have caravan or tent. By the look of the face tattoos looked like and behaved like gang members. Without security gates or doors they will just come in. Also some people had a lot of food- meat stolen from fridge. Sad. :( ALL THAT SAID- it's still a lovely camp. Facilities are clean, and good location next to hot pools and good sites with reasonable privacy on most sites. Would stay again.

We stayed here as one nighters both in late January and early February. There were 2 single beds in the room as well as a Queen. 2 bathrooms also, the handbasin's hot water was only a tickle from the tap in the upstairs bathroom in unit 3. There was a big spa bath which we did not use. There was both an outdoor sitting.lounging area downstairrs and very sunny balcony upstairs - great for a sundown drink. The February stay had us in a room with only one signle bed and a Queen bed, no updtairs, and a outdoor seating/lounging area, The rooms are clean, well equiped, comfortable and spacious enough. Plenty of bath towels provided also. The rooms reek of air freshner, which I hated but some establishments clearly like using it liberally and unnecessarily. A short walk down a back path on the premises will take you down to the lakeside walkway and beach area, we walked around to the lovely outdoor seating lakeside Millenium bar and had a drink, it was a nice quite spot. The decor is dated and the wallpaper is peeling in parts, a refurb should be on the cards soon. It is very popular so it must be appealing enough. Yes, I would recommend (if you only require a clean bed for the night. Reasonably priced also.
