Good view, good location, good service! We meet their staff Noemi at front desk, she is very nice and helpful! Very good experience! Will definitely come back again!

Neomi, the front desk clerk at the hotel, was very friendly. The entire hotel is actually divided into two parts, Timeo on the mountain and San'Andrew on the beach. There is a free shuttle bus between the two hotels every half an hour, which is actually very convenient. Timeo has a great view and the service is first-class. There are welcome fruit snacks when you check in, and a cup of goodnight tea before going to bed at night. Since we arrived early, the front desk thoughtfully arranged for us to have some drinks at the bar. We checked out at 3 pm because we forgot the time because we went to the beach to play. No one rushed us at all with a 90% occupancy rate! For dinner, we chose to go to a restaurant on the beach to enjoy the sunset. Every dish was delicious. I was really satisfied with this stay.

Sharing my experience and situation at Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina sicilia. The hotel consists of two separate buildings: the main Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo and the adjacent Villa Flora. Although the two buildings are part of the same property, they offer different accommodation. Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo offers more luxurious rooms and suites, often with stunning views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. In comparison, Villa Flora is located about 2 minutes walk from the main building and provides accommodation without the same facilities or views. Villa Flora has different entrances, addresses, and is separated by the (Greek Theater). Unlike the main building, Villa Flora does not have its own bar or restaurant. To enjoy services such as dining or bars, guests staying at Villa Flora need to walk to the main building. This meant leaving Villa Flora, walking through the busy streets near the Greek Theater, and weaving through the crowds to get to the main building. It was only 2 minutes, but imagine a lot of space and time to get down early for breakfast and think about it before going to bed at night. It's not very convenient to go downstairs to drink, or to change into a swimsuit and want to go to the swimming pool. For me, Villa Flora is definitely another hotel that shouldn't share the same name as Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo. A friend said that if his house price is almost the same as that of Ritz Paris, he shouldn't settle for it.

The room was nice, a little empty, but the king-size bed was made of two mattresses put together, which I didn't like. The hotel bar was in a great location, with a beautiful view and good drinks. The overall service was very warm, but one staff member at the reception made me feel uncomfortable. When I wanted to book a shuttle bus, he repeatedly emphasized that this service was only for guests staying in the hotel, but I had clearly told him that I was staying in the hotel. I'm not sure if his repeated emphasis was based on me being Asian or based on my sloppy dressing, which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope to strengthen employee training.

Outstanding in every aspect. Fantastic, friendly, helpful service. Gorgeous setting. Beautiful, clean rooms with lovely rooms and Acqua di Parma amenities. Location cannot be beat. Entrance is on main pedestrian road and property is adjacent to the Greek theater. Stay here and drive to other towns you want to visit on the eastern side of the island for day trips.

Our recent visit to the GHT was just exceptional in every respect. The reception, front desk, guest services and concierge teams are welcoming, resourceful and dedicated to making a visit to Taormina and this world class hotel a wonderful experience. Breakfast, dinners and cocktails come with a truly magnificent view of the sea and Mt Etna. The Michelin rated restaurant Otto Geleng is a memorable experience. The wine service reflects their expertise and attentiveness to their guests. The hotel is right near the iconic Greek Theater which is convenient for browsing the shops and sites in the beautiful town. There is a shuttle that takes you down to Villa St Andrea, the sister property by the sea, if you want to go to the beach. There is a spa for wellness. The pool is very well managed. Housekeeping and room service are attentive and very efficient.

Danielle the server is so professional and accommodating. He recommended the dramatic rhume cocktail and provided useful information . We enjoyed our lunch with him so much we came back for dinner. The bar and setting are just fantastic. The food for dinner was just ok but the service is just wonderful. At the end of the night, we had the most wonderful bellman get us a taxi back to our hotel.

We had a meal at the hotel’s beautiful restaurant with amazing views over the hillside. Food was absolutely amazing, helped by the beautiful setting. The staff were very friendly especially the Sommelier who was fantastic and her wine recommendation was just brilliant and also Daniel who served us lovely guy funny, friendly and professional we had the best time
