We initially planned to visit Hida Furukawa, but we ended up spending more time than expected in Shirakawago. On a whim, we decided to stay overnight in Takayama. The hotel room here is more spacious compared to the one we had in Nagoya, and the service has been excellent, leaving us very satisfied. Although I didn't get a chance to try their hot spring, I would love to return as we thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay. The location is convenient, being close to Takayama Station and a 7-Eleven.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the bus station and Takayama train station. Friendly hotel staff. Delicious varied European and Japanese breakfasts. Snow-white towels and bed linen. On the top floor there is an onsen, one of the pools of which is in the open air.

I chose to stay at this hotel to watch the Takayama Festival. The location is good. It is only 300 to 400 meters away from JR Takayama Station, the express bus station, and the Takayama bus station. It is very close to attractions such as Nakabashi, Takayama Jinya, and Miyagawa Morning Market. It is very close to walking to the yatai parade and puppet show. The front desk is warm and polite. There are many restaurants around. The room is clean and tidy. Simple toiletries can be picked up at the front desk. Coffee and tea are available for free in the lobby 24 hours a day. There are 6 types of pillows to choose from in the lobby. There is a hot spring on the ninth floor. It is cost-effective and quite good.
