Taitung Taitung City 3-star Hotels

We spent 12 nights in Taiwan, touring the island, and this is by far the most beautiful and functional hostel/hotel we’d stayed in. Absolutely love the lay out of the place. With a big courtyard in the middle, filled with plants. The ground floor has a common fully functional kitchen (with fridge, oven, stove, steamer, we even found Chinese tea set for those wanting to try out Chinese tea making), lots of pots and pans, they even provide cooking oil, sauces, salt for cooking. It’s so clean and tidy that every guest using the place was obligated to keep the place the same state! On the ground floor, there are lots of comfortable seats for reading or having a chat. Tables for doing work. Bean bags to sit and lounge around. The hostel provides bike mounts for those who come in bicycle, a bike repair area with some tools to fix your bike. Those who drive, there is a nearby parking for hostel guest (TWD50 per day) We get vouchers to spend in a few places nearby, so we used it to pay for our brunch at Lane28. They were enough to cover brunch for 3 of us for 2 days. The rooms too are nicely designed. Our deluxe double room comes with a big bed, a sofa, and a study table. The hotel even provide journaling books, stamps, washi tapes for journaling. Absolutely coming back! And will try the other Norden Ruder hostel in Taichung.

The room is spacious and the bathroom is oversized. The view is great. The butler's service is kind and considerate. Checking in during the Dragon Boat Festival and giving small gifts for the occasion felt very heartwarming. Overall, the CP value is very high.

Norden Ruder hostel is much better than many known hotels. So far this is the best accommodation I have during my Taiwan trip. Highly recommended.

The assigned room is right next to the elevator, so the sound of machinery and equipment can be heard in the room, and the sound of street traffic can be heard on the other side of the room. The sound insulation is not very good, so people who are sensitive to sound should consider this.

It was a last minute trip. I decided to stay there when I arrived. I've always heard that Cambridge Hotel is good, so I decided to give it a try. The room was good overall and worth the price. I didn't use the midnight snack, so I can't give any comments. The breakfast was Chinese and filling. The service staff was warm and friendly. They bowed to see me off at the elevator entrance when I left. It was the same as Japanese department stores, which made me a little uncomfortable. The bed was too soft for me. 1 is hard ~ 10 is soft. I would give it 10 points. I wonder if I can choose the hardness of the mattress when booking? ??? Parking issues. Please ask the counter first. The flat surface is preferred.

The location is quite close to Tiehua Village, and it is convenient to eat out. It's a pity that the soundproofing inside the hotel is not good. The children next door were too noisy on the night of my stay, and the sound of cars passing by on the road could also be heard, which affected my sleep quality. However, the breakfast has vegetarian and meat flavors, which makes people feel warm!

It is very close to the transfer station. After getting off at Taitung Railway Station, you can take the bus to get there. It is also very convenient if you want to take the Taiwan Express. It is also very close to the morning market. There are many choices for breakfast near the morning market. Now is the peak season for pineapples. They are sweet, juicy and cheap. Because it is close to the production area, I go to the market every day to buy pineapples and ask the boss to help peel them. At dusk, you can rent a ubike to go to the beach to watch the sea, ride a ubike slowly in the city, and listen to music in Tiehua Village at night.

The B&B is located near Taitung Coastal Park and close to the city. There are a lot of delicious food around, and there are many choices within walking distance. Deadpool and Wolverine were released on the day of our stay. It only takes ten minutes to walk to Taitung Xiutai The room is smaller than expected, the equipment is simple but has everything it needs If you don’t bring your own spare parts, you can get them at the counter. The hot water and strong water pressure will satisfy those who are particular about showering. Booked through trip, double room price after Chinese New Year is around 2000 yuan, I am lucky today I upgraded to a double room on Tuesday after Chinese New Year, the room is very big when I enter, I have two pillows per person, sleeping alone on a big bed And the bed is very comfortable to lie on, not too soft (I like hard beds) The space is very comfortable, the air conditioner has no strange smell (Many well-maintained hotels can't escape the air conditioner smell) Although there is no magnificent mountain view that I originally expected, and the sky is covered with clouds, there is no chance to see the starry sky. But there is a spa pool and a children's play area on the first floor. The water temperature is 39 degrees and 41 degrees at 8 o'clock in the evening. It is refreshing to book the spa area with few people. Guests can enjoy simple light meals on the first floor. It is very enjoyable to listen to real people playing the piano in the lobby on the first floor at night. If there are any disadvantages, it is a 15-minute drive from Taitung City. There are not many street lights along the road. It is recommended to go back to the hotel after eating, or have dinner directly in the hotel

It seems to be a bit old. Close to the night market, towels provided (you can get new towels if you stay multiple nights. You get them by returning the used ones), face towels are sold on one side of the first floor, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided, and two cup ramen are provided in the room. It's a bit damp so things you wash don't dry well, so if you're staying for one night, I don't think you should wash anything.
