"#There are cockroaches crawling inside the sanitary bathroom...#Service a room can have 2 pools of hot spring water, the water has a sulfur smell, the hot spring feels OK, but my experience needs to be shared in detail. Passing through Taishan, I found a store with high scores on the platform to stay for one night and soak in a hot spring. After arriving at the store, I paid a deposit of 500 yuan (the deposit fee is greater than the room fee) and then said that the burst water pipe will have a hot spring at 8 or 9 pm. I played mahjong for 40 minutes (at the beginning, I said that I gave a good review to free mahjong opening fee, After checking out, I said that I had to give a good review before refunding the room deposit. This threatening praise, I would rather pay the mahjong opening fee of 100) and finally drag and drag for many reasons. I didn't refund my 400 yuan deposit until more than 6 hours after check-out. The complete description of the real experience is for your reference and no other evaluation. #Cost-effective its elevator is bad ~ can climb the stairs, the so-called 24-hour housekeeper can reply to the message after more than an hour (the kind that may not be answered without urging)"

"It's been almost ten years since I last visited Taishan to see family, and I was really surprised by how much it's changed! The integrated shopping mall is excellent, with a great range of facilities and a diverse selection of stores. You can find everything from nail salons, hair and beauty treatments, to coffee shops and bubble tea, catering to all sorts of needs for those returning from abroad. The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful; they helped me with taxis, recommended great restaurants, and I loved the room they arranged for me. Highly, highly recommend!"

"I stayed at this hotel during a recent trip, and it was truly one of the best places to unwind after a long day. The interior design stood out—elegant and far superior to any hotel I’ve visited before. The staff were attentive, respectful, and quick to assist with my check-in, along with a complimentary breakfast voucher.
The room itself was spotless, featuring a super comfortable bed, free bottled water, tea, and a range of amenities. Everything felt clean, fresh, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a great variety of fruits, drinks, and delicious traditional Chinese dishes.
While many nearby hotels offered similar pricing, none came close to matching the level of comfort, luxury, and attention to detail I experienced here. This hotel truly delivered a premium stay without the premium price tag.
Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a relaxing stay."

"More than 10 years ago, I stayed in Taishan Gaoye Hotel and was impressed by this hotel. It is a well established, well equipped hotel and within walking distance to the pedestrians mall and shops. I highly recommended this hotel for its convenience.
It will be great if the lighting in the room are adjustable as it is a bit dark in my allocated room. The WC has better lighting than the room itself.
I will still return to this hotel when I’m in Taicheng."

"The room was big and comfortable. Although it was not as new as in the photos, it was well maintained. The hot spring pool was great. I would like to complain that the mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on because it was round and felt like it was joined together in the middle. I think this is not right. Also, the environment was very noisy. At around 7am on the first day of my stay, someone was sawing a tree by the window. I went out to negotiate, but they ignored me and kept sawing until 10am."

It is convenient for shopping, dining and attractions. The hotel has luxurious interior decoration and elegant atmosphere. The lobby is spacious and bright, giving people a feeling of being at home. The rooms are spacious and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, the bathroom is clean and tidy, the front desk receptionist has an excellent attitude, everyone is warm and thoughtful, with a smile on their face, the check-in and check-out procedures are quick, and any needs can be responded to and resolved in time. "Easter trip with the family, stayed here after Kaiping rural historical villages and diaolou exploration. For some city time. Clean neat new hotel. Good Non smoking rooms.
Nice bathrooms, japanese style automatic toilets. Simple okay buffet breakfast, fresh coffee, mostly Chinese style breakfast. Our family had a good time. Booked a double for us and a twin room for the kids. There is a bit of a music bass noise in the evening due to next door night club. Was mentioned in the booking. No real problem for us. We enjoyed the giant modern Chain mall a short drive away for dinner and shopping. The old city centre is also good for meals and the sights."

We were genuinely touched when we opened the door. The hotel breakfast was generous and served until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers like us. GGuest UserNew World hotel is truly a world class hotel. The hotel layout is huge and the hotel lobby leading to the lift lobby has mesmerising ceiling art not unlike Sistine Chapel.
Check in was quite swift. We met Ki Ki and she is indeed very kind, helpful and patient with us; going beyond extra miles in helping us navigating the city, booking cab, introducing good restaurants & even helping us to find & locate our ancestor's village by contacting the relevant association! I have to say she is a true gem in the hotel! Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciations go beyond words for her.

GGuest UserEverything about your hotel was excellent, but my check-out experience yesterday left me utterly displeased! I had explicitly arranged for a late check-out until 3:00 PM as one of my entitled benefits. Yet, around 1 PM, a front desk attendant called to inquire if I wished to extend my stay. I informed her that I wouldn't be extending and would be checking out. I proceeded to check out at 2:03 PM and departed. What truly shocked me was that while I was waiting for the elevator, I distinctly overheard your front desk attendant, seemingly unaware I was still within earshot, mocking me in a local dialect with a colleague. Her exact words were, 'Looks like she's got boiling water under her feet, doesn't she?' This incident makes me seriously question whether your staff management truly instills professional etiquette. Do your employees show basic respect to ordinary guests? Is there a fundamental lack of moral education? If the answer to all these questions is negative, then perhaps it's time for a serious re-evaluation of your staff's positions and a thorough adjustment of their roles.

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively new as compared to some of the other ones in the neighborhood. The room we booked was nice and clean. Unfortunately, they don’t have a fridge in the room which is inconvenient. The breakfast included was plentiful but quality is mediocre. But, this is no complaints considering this used to be a rural area of Kaiping. There are a few variety stores in close proximity that you can get some fruits and drinks so that is good. Will stay there again next time.

GGuest UserThis hotel has a good location, many locals say it is popular due to this as well. The hotel room door had a security measure that if left slightly opened, would sound an alarm. The hotel breakfast was good and had much variety. We stayed at the top floor which was level 15. I uploaded a picture of the nice view

TTiChattonThe location was very convenient, right off the highway and by a big shopping mall with a cinema and restaurants. There's also an EE bus to and from Hong Kong for added convenience that departs from this mall. The room is clean, the bathtub is for photo only - non-functional. Despite the construction noise sign, I got a room on floor 6 and barely heard the construction. I enjoyed my stay here, the room was cleaned everyday and amenities topped up. Washing detergent is provided and the washing machine is great! Could provide clothing clips in addition to the hangers to dry smaller garments like socks and underwear. Very nice and large projector TV screen.
5/5 - no complaints.

MM57240****The overall environment is okay, and the neighborhood is not noisy. Even though the duplex apartment is forced to be divided into two rooms, it is a bit humorous. The door to my room leads to the stairs. But when you get up there, it’s pretty much the same as advertised in the pictures. I didn’t take pictures of the inside, but the price/performance ratio is pretty good.

MMuweileidetuziAs a traveler, I am really grateful to stay here. The room is spacious and pet-friendly. The shower is super big and has a great shower head. The boss and the front desk are very friendly. There is a pedestrian street downstairs, 711, Luckin Coffee, and Agricultural Bank of China, so you don't have to worry about food and drink. The river is not far away, there are abundant businesses around, and it is located in the central area. For parking, there is an underground parking garage. Enter the alley diagonally opposite and turn right. You can only stop at the hotel entrance to unload your luggage. Thank you for the store's enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, I hope it can give you a reference.

GGuest UserGrand hotel that has seen better days. Room is dark and musty. Signs of damage to wall and ceiling. Breakfast is on lower end and nearly the same variety everyday. Asked to be given room facing away from park. Otherwise very noisy but noise did promptly stop at 10pm. One day we were out and windstorm occurred. Returned to hotel and found someone had fetched our belongings from the balcony back into the room without asking. Very impressed by this attention. Thank you.
