Taipei Hotels with Airport pickup service

The same excellent service and hospitality as the first time I was here in the late 80s when it was still the iconic Lai Lai Sheraton. Thank you for going the extra mile to make my wife’s birthday memorable with the extra arrangements. Special mention goes to Ellen and the front desk team for taking great care of us.

Located at Wanhua TRA station and adjacent to Hongshansi MRT station, the hotel was great but the sound proof may need to be improved. It is not due to the room I think , as the guest room next to me having party at ant 1am. The gym is quite disappointing as it has only treadmills and some cardio equipment, however quite spacious. Must try their Chinese restaurant located at 3rd floor, them them your room number for 15 percent off. Same for Starbucks and Buffet at 5th floor. The only concern is I am not sure in what condition the room will auto off the power. Which makes me feel so uncomfortable. it will not always happen but very randomly. Many good restaurants around and walking distance to a local night market street (Huaxi Night Market). Will definitely stay again.

Good hotel, comfortable family room. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. 15mins walking distance to Ximending walking street, very near to a 24hrs carrefour which is just diagonal to the hotel (crossing 1 big road). Free “all you can eat” snacks for hotel guests, the kids were super happy and enjoying.

We recently stayed at the Shangrila Far Eastern in Taipei in one of their family rooms, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. It brought back such fond memories, as my wife and I stayed here over 20 years ago, and it’s heartwarming to see that the hotel continues to uphold its high standards. The family room was spacious, modern, and perfectly suited for our family. The kids loved having their own space, and the thoughtful touches in the room made it a comfortable retreat for all of us. The hotel's location is fantastic, offering easy access to the city's main attractions. Whether we were out exploring or enjoying the stunning views from the hotel, everything felt effortless. It was nostalgic and special to return here, and we loved watching our kids enjoy the same level of service and luxury we did all those years ago. The memories we've made this time, as a family, will surely last a lifetime. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a mix of luxury, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We had 6 people total so had two rooms and one room was in the newly built part of the building and the other one was in the old building. Room in the new building is much cleaner and lights are brighter. Room in old building lights are much deemer and bathroom is too old. No bottle of water, they provide water dispencer in every floor. Worst soap I ever smelled in any of the hotels. The receptionist who checked us in was very unclear with her question because we had two rooms and originally booked one family room with one king bed and 2 single beds and other room with a king bed. She asked whether 2 beds are ok and I thought she meant for the king bed as she finished with a sentence saying the king bedroom needs to be checked in later. So when we went up to the family room, I see 2 beds instead of my original request, went down to ask why and she gave me an attitude saying “didnt I ask whether 2 beds are ok” I was actually shocked with the way she approached me, did not try to clarify in a nice manner. Sorry but never going back. The photo is for the room in new building. Even if the room (new building) is clean if the service is bad, I never want to go back.

Wonderful stay with very neat environment I went during xmas and the hotel was well decorated with a big xmas tree and Santa Clause to take photos with Restaurants in hotel are also fantastic except they are quite fully booked In general, we would love to return to the hotel next time

Location is superb! Room is spacious and clean. We were upgraded to twin double bed room! We truly have a comfortable 2 nights stay!

After a couple of less impressive days at another 5-star property for business meetings, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service received at Humble House after I transferred over for the remainder of my stay in Taipei. Staff service was consistently welcoming across the board, from concierge to front desk, to restaurant and even the housekeeping staff I ran into in the corridor offering to clean my room.

Fast check in .. and counter staff Shelley is friendly and very details ....room is spacious and clean ... only issue is there is no Utube or NET flix access on TV ... Pool with warm water ... and the lifeguard there is friendly too .. enjoyed the swim in cold weather of 15 degree ... Gym is fully equipped but always packed ... overall a very pleasant stay ... a great hotel with friendly staff ... only Mr D at Gym/Spa that is cold and stern ... anyway he is just doing his job !

I stayed at **Just Sleep Hotel Ximending** with my family from December 10th to 15th, and while it had its positives, there were a few aspects that would make me hesitate to stay here again. Here's a breakdown of our experience: #### Location: The location is definitely a highlight. The hotel is in the heart of **Ximending**, just a short walk from Ximending MRT station, making it convenient for exploring the area. You’re surrounded by shops, restaurants, and entertainment, so it's ideal if you want to be in the middle of the action. #### Room: We stayed in the **Superior Family Room**, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The room had a modern design, with comfortable beds, a TV, a mini-fridge, and a desk. The bathroom was a bit tight, but it worked well for our needs. The shower had good water pressure, and everything was clean and in good condition. #### Service: The service was friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk were always ready to assist with recommendations for local attractions and were prompt in fulfilling our requests for extra towels and pillows. #### Amenities: The **breakfast** was okay, but not impressive. The buffet had a basic selection of both Western and ********* breakfast items, but it became repetitive, and the quality could have been better. It was just enough to get by, but nothing memorable. One issue that affected our stay was the **noise in the lobby at night**. It often felt like a social hangout spot, with a large group of people drinking beer and playing games. It wasn't always clear if all of them were hotel guests, and the noise was quite disruptive, especially for anyone trying to relax or sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, this might be a problem, as the lobby area gets pretty lively late into the night. #### Overall Experience: While **Just Sleep Hotel Ximending** offers great value for its central location and the rooms are generally comfortable, the noise from the lobby and the underwhelming breakfast left a bit of a negative impression. Based on this experience, **I probably wouldn't stay here again**. I would likely choose a hotel that's even closer to Ximending, with quieter surroundings and a better breakfast. Would I recommend it? If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Ximending and don't mind some noise in the evenings, it could work for you. But for a more peaceful stay, I’d recommend looking at other options.
