Great location and clean room. Unfortunately the water pressure for warm/hot water in the shower is very low.

The location is just few blocks away from taipei main station and to ximending as well. Its very convenient. The staff are so nice they let us leave our baggage even after our check out and let us pick it up in the evening. I just had a problem with the wifi at night but overall the stay was good.

Book Sunny Hotel but marketing/Branding was Relieve Hotel. Was confused when trying to locate the hotel 3. Old building and noise filtration was poor. You can hear your neighbours and my room was very near the next building. 4. Poor amenities and soap dispenser has problem dispensing body wash. 5. Not so great room conditions.

The hotel is great for its location. The breakfast cafe beside the hotel is fantastic. As we just have the place for “sleeping”. It’s all right.

Entire floor smoke smell despite no smoking sign. Bad for families with little kids. Abit far off XMD. Got to walk quite a distance.

Very near to ximending night market and metro stations

Overall good value for money. Location a bit messy.

We paid almost $300 USD for one room on a Saturday night. Typically rooms are relatively expensive in Taipei, especially on a Friday or Saturday so we expected it to be a bit pricier. The room itself was big and the beds were also quite large. The location itself is good but everything else about it was horrible. We got the top floor but there were many issues with the hotel and room. First, the hotel we booked was “sunny hotel”, but the name on the building was ReLite hotel so it was difficult to find. When entering the reception area the whole building smelled like sewage. Second, the room smelled musty and had tiny ants both in the bathroom and in the room. Third, the glass sliding door that lead to the bathroom was difficult to open, could not close all the way, and could not be locked. They provided tea, water, toothbrush, shower cap, and shampoo (all pretty typical for hotels in Taiwan). EVEN FOR $50 I WOULD RECONSIDER GETTING A ROOM HERE.

Good for the price

Check-in was quick and the service was courteous. There is a hot water machine in the lobby on the ground floor. The hotel is located very close to the North Gate (just cross the main street when you go out). It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Taipei Main Station MRT Station. The room is decent and big enough. Although the wallpaper is a bit damaged, the air conditioning is OK. The windows face the inner alley but there is light but no smell. The bathroom only has a bathtub and the toilet is an old style. When you first enter the room, there is a bit of toilet smell and the sound insulation is not good. The king-size bed is two beds pushed together. The mattress is a soft and elastic slingshot mattress, and there are two quilts. There are not many sockets. There are two universal sockets next to the desk and two two-pin sockets next to the small refrigerator. There are no hooks or clothes baskets in the toilet. The shelves are above the bathtub, which makes it inconvenient to place clothes. Notify the front desk when there is any damage to the facilities, and maintenance staff will soon come and take care of it (to the extent that it can be used) (Also, the room only has a door lock and is not equipped with an anti-theft chain, so please take care of your belongings)

It's really not worth 2915 yuan a night to pick up big thunder. But many Korean tourists stay in this hotel, and they feel ashamed for Taipei. All facilities are very old, much like a 600-yuan-a-night hotel in the countryside. The air conditioning system was very dirty and probably hadn't been cleaned in years! An older hotel, but the health and facilities are good. Located on the main road to Ximending, it is more suitable for travelers who walk to Ximending for shopping in the evening and take the train to Taipei Main Station in the morning.
