Capital Hotel Songshan Reviews

A great stay very close to the MRT station and a walking distance from Taipei 101. Definitely recommend it.

Pros 1 The bathroom is an automatic toilet and has a bathtub. 2 The location is very good. Exit MRT Songshan exit 2 and walk into Raohe Market or cross the road to the hotel. 3 There are Family Mart and 7-11 nearby. 4 The staff are friendly and can speak English. 5 There is 1 universal power plug, which is normal power. Cons 1 Even though we told the maid to clean it every day, she didn't wash the bathtub, which was fine for us. We were the only ones using the bathroom. The room was cleaned like we were just taking out the trash and making the bed. 2 There was nothing to watch on the TV. 3 The walls are thin, so you can hear the water and the sound of the next room often, but not loud enough to be understood.

Location is very convenient as the MRT is close by, citylink shopping centre is within walking distance. However, room are abit small and I don’t really enjoy the breakfast.

Comfortable hotel. Very near to mrt exit and walking distance to famous night market-RaoHe night market. View from rooftop garden is insane with Taipei 101.

Room was small but quite clean and not very dusty. Locationg is good near to night market and metro

The hotel is located near to SongShan station. Lots of shops and eatery nearby.

Good location, very near to the train station, many convenient store nearby and close to night market.

Hotel is located near Songshan Station and market, it's easy to go around. The area is pretty smell because of manholes around but kind of convenient when many convenient stores with restaurants near by

Laundry service need to be repair…for 60 mins, clothes are still wet. The phone calling services (to local or overseas) in all rooms are disable. Counter reject to provide calling services. Toilet inside the room is out of expectation tho.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, except one night duty staff is not. Location is not too bad, right opposite the train station and near a night market. Has to take train to go to town. Cons: Very old, dirty and dusty room. Wardrobe is not only old but hell dusty. Carpet is worse. Towels doesn’t look clean at all and has hairs on it. Breakfast is vegetarian, not to our taste. Conclusions: Highly not recommended. This hotel seriously needs an overhaul.

Not the best hotel in the area but the room is clean and staff are friendly. The location is excellent with public transport nearby. It's opposite to the night market where plenty of things to see and eat in the evening. It's also very safe for solo traveler. The room price is reasonable too. This hotel is quite busy with group travellers in and out and is a popular place for tourists.

The housekeeping staff is good and helpful. The two ladies in the front desk is basically like the black face deities you see at Taipei temples. The guy front desk is helpful but not the two ladies, irritating and faking too much.

Well located hotel in an interesting part of Taipei. Easy accessible, there are lots of local eateries providing many food options. Received an upgrade and the room was simple decked out.
