This is the second time visit here,There is a shuttle bus from train to hotel, the hotel facilities and services are perfect, the hot spring is great, the temperature is just right,Swimming pool is quite big,I must go again next time.Thankyou Mayumi Kiyu she try her best to helping me,is a nice lady=]and also Rai Rojina she is the one who can speak good english in the hotel,she helping me so much!! 第二次來這裡了，從火車到酒店有專車接送，酒店設施和服務都很完善，溫泉很棒，溫度剛剛好，游泳池挺大的，下次一定要再去 .謝謝Mayumi Kiyu，她盡力幫助我，是一位好員工=]還有Rai Rojina，她是酒店裡能說一口流利英語的人，她幫了我很多！！還有一位會說普通話的男孩，他非常有禮貌，努力的幫我翻譯,thanks!

I stayed here because they offered free co-sleeping. The room was clean and the hotel was stylish, but they gave me a printed explanation of how to use the hotel, and it said that pillows and other items for co-sleeping children would be provided free of charge if you told the front desk, but in reality they don't lend them to co-sleeping children. That's just an excuse, and in reality they probably don't have enough pillows because there are so many guests. Please be careful if you are traveling with children during peak season. I decided to stay here after reading the reviews on Google, and the description of the separate bath was good, so I decided to stay here, but it wasn't until I stayed there that I realized that unit bath types are also common. I wish there were more clear options when making reservations. Also, small children were using the elevator by themselves and playing around the drink bar and the front desk. The children were not at fault, and the parents were not very strict, but I think the hotel should tell the front desk in advance that it is dangerous for children to act alone in the hotel and to refrain from doing so. I think an accident will happen soon. The quality of the izakaya directly connected to the hotel is also too low. I stayed there for two days, but the restaurants in front of Moriyama Station seemed to be of low quality overall. There are other minor issues, but I think the hotel could have improved if the above points could be improved.

GGuest UserThe 'Setre Marina Biwako' oozes luxury. From the moment you arrive at the entrance & check-in, to the moment you depart, you will be spoilt rotten. Everything about this facility is total perfection - the staff, although very formal, are also casual & friendly, the room is very well appointed with great views across the lake with the Hira Mountains in the distance, the facilities are top rate and the food is what you would experience at any top class restaurant anywhere in the world. Tip-1 - when you check-in you are given a card telling you the sunset time and I suggest, if the weather is fine-&-clear, you absorb the great view as the sun sets behind the mountain rage. Tip-2 - pour yourself a glass of red wine, get a plate with some nibbles and head to the roof and check-out the view. Tip-3 - don't be in a hurry at dinner, savor the food, wash it down with a nice wine (it took my wife and I 2.5-hours to make our way through the menu). Tip-4 - have your breakfast in your room. Tip-5 - bring some cycling gear and take advantage of the free cycles and head-off over the Biwako-ohashi (bridge) and check-out the view from the top. Everything is included in the cost of your stay so, whatever your purpose for staying at the 'Setre Marina Biwako, you will come-away totally refreshed.
