Suzhou Suzhou Industrial Park Hotels

For my trip to Suzhou, I chose the Crowne Plaza after seeing many recommendations online. It definitely lived up to its online reputation; the lake view was absolutely stunning. Upon entering the lobby, you're immediately greeted by a panoramic and absolutely gorgeous lake view. The hotel's decor is also very grand and impressive. Its overall architecture, resembling a cruise ship, is truly unique. What's particularly worth praising is the hotel's breakfast. The restaurant is very spacious and located right by the lake, offering fantastic views. Plus, the breakfast spread is incredibly rich and diverse, with so many options to choose from. The complimentary travel photoshoot from 'Seven Degrees' (七度旅拍) offered by the hotel was a pleasant surprise and quite good. The photographer was very dedicated and professional, and I was also very pleased with how the photos turned out. Highly recommended!

I booked this hotel last minute without much research, assuming the Courtyard brand would be decent as it's part of Marriott. However, I was sorely disappointed upon arrival. First off, the parking lot only has mechanical parking spaces, which are incredibly tight and a nightmare to park in. If you're not an expert driver, seriously consider skipping this hotel. Furthermore, the hotel is quite dated. The entire decor gives off a very old-fashioned vibe. You can tell its age just by looking at the ancient TV in the room. Upon entering the room, there was a distinct musty and dusty smell. The only redeeming qualities are its excellent location: it's within walking distance to Suzhou Center, and there's a subway station right downstairs. Honestly, this hotel is just a waste of a prime location.

The hotel staff were very warm and friendly, always smiling and approachable. I'd like to commend Joy at the check-in counter for her patience and thoroughness. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was abundant. We even renew ed our booking and recommended the hotel to our friends.

I stayed at the InterContinental Suzhou. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of Jinji Lake. As an 'introvert' (i-person), I chose to simply wait for the sunset from my room, and to my surprise, I even captured my own 'La La Land' moment in Suzhou – it felt incredibly lucky! The InterContinental mooncakes were also exceptionally delicious; I even bought some before I left! From sunset to twilight, every moment was breathtakingly beautiful. The orange hue of the lake bathed in the sunset, the tranquility of the 'blue hour', and the dazzling nightscape once the city lights came on – this moment truly allowed me to let go of many worries and reclaim my inner peace.😌 You can also head downstairs for a leisurely walk by the lake, or explore Moonlight Dock. In the morning, continue to enjoy the lake views, then after breakfast, head straight to the gym (can't miss a workout!). In the afternoon, indulge in some afternoon tea. And a special shout-out to Ms. Joy at the Executive Lounge for her incredibly warm and enthusiastic service! Looking forward to my next visit to Suzhou. It was a perfect moment for self-care and relaxation.

Recommended accommodation, it is near to subway entrance to easier to explore Suzhou, line 6 Xujiabang exit 2 is the nearest station. Unit, bed and bath room are huge. Try the nice chinese restaurant beside the building namely suchengjiayen.

The hotel's facilities are impeccably maintained. While Shangri-La is a well-established five-star brand, this particular property is relatively new and modern. They even have delivery robots, which kids will surely love! The views from the room are absolutely stunning. The location is also second to none, being very close to the subway station and just a few minutes from Jinji Lake. However, what truly stood out was the service. Our butler, Yvonne, provided continuous support from booking to check-out, helping us resolve numerous issues. Her warm and attentive service is definitely a key reason I would choose to stay here again. We enjoyed a delightful and cozy weekend with our family at the Shangri-La, and we'll definitely be back!

I always stay at the Grand Hyatt whenever I visit Suzhou, but this time, the experience was quite disappointing. I felt compelled to write a review. **Service:** Due to my late check-in the previous day (past 11 PM), I had confirmed with the hotel in advance and at the front desk that I could extend my check-out until 2 PM. However, at 12:30 PM, I received a call to my room, informing me that my complimentary extension was only for 30 minutes and that I needed to pack up and check out *immediately*. Even after I explained our prior arrangement, they rigidly insisted I must be at the front desk to check out by 2 PM. This kind of situation has never occurred before, and it was quite frustrating. **Check-in Experience:** On the day of check-in, even though it was already past 11 PM, the front desk attendant was quite friendly. However, for some reason, she could only locate my booking for a single night, which led to a long and tiring back-and-forth. I had booked a Jinji Lake View room, but the room assigned (number 10) was almost at the very end of the lake-facing side, offering a minimal view of the lake. It was nearly midnight, and I was too exhausted to request a room change. Adding to this, I noticed the attendant at the next counter proactively offering a room upgrade to another guest, while I was still stuck trying to sort out my booking – a stark contrast. **A Special Compliment:** I must give a special shout-out to the cleaning lady on our floor. She always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by, and after noticing us taking bottled water when we left the room, she proactively placed two extra bottles in our room. That was a very thoughtful and excellent gesture.

Absolutely Stunning Cloud-Hotel Experience! Perched on the 115th floor, the Niccolo offers breathtaking panoramic views of Jinji Lake and the iconic ”Gate to the East.” The rooms are the epitome of modern luxury – sleek design, top-notch amenities, and incredibly comfortable beds. The infinity pool and dining venues are spectacular. Service is impeccable; the staff Dorothy anticipates your needs with genuine warmth and professionalism. Whether for business or a special getaway, this hotel delivers an unforgettable level of sophistication and style. Worth every penny for the unique sky-high experience. Highly recommended!

Because of the good service and assistance in frontdesk, we decided to extend here. Worth the stay with good proximity on key scenic spots around Jinji lake. Close to subway good for transportation.

Our family stayed at this hotel during our trip to Suzhou. We found it offered excellent value for money, and its location is quite central. The parking entrance is located to the right of the hotel lobby. A word of caution: our navigation app gave us incorrect directions when trying to find it. Once in the basement, follow the signs to the hotel's dedicated parking spots. There are plenty of spaces, so feel free to drive further in – that will put you closer to the hotel elevators. The basement elevator takes you to the 1st floor. From there, you need to take a dedicated elevator up to the 25th-floor lobby for check-in. The receptionist on the 1st floor (I believe she wore glasses) was incredibly proactive and enthusiastic – highly appreciated! The long-haired staff member who checked us in was equally fantastic. She kindly upgraded our room for free, and her service was truly five-star plus – she deserves special mention! Breakfast was quite good. While the selection wasn't as extensive as in larger hotels, the quality of the items was excellent. Other amenities, however, I found to be just average. Traveling with a child, it was quite inconvenient that no bed rails were provided. The Wild Garden Lounge on the 25th floor was a letdown. When we tried to order, many items were unavailable, and even the recommended set menu had been discontinued. This really dampened the experience. Having to switch elevators multiple times just to get to the 1st floor or the swimming pool was also quite inconvenient.
