Wonderful stay in this traditional Tongli house… it’s incredible it’s like the historic houses you visit in the town.. moreover, the owner has been very helpful, polite and caring. I’d love to come back. Definitely reccomend it.

this is a very special place with long standing history. the owner is so friendly and generous, grandma's food is good and affordable if you can speak chinese, you can learn more about their lives and it was wonderful for me.

The accommodation is a old house which was built during the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty and has been built more than 300 years ago. Currently it is run by the descendants and the location of the accommodation is within the Tongli ancient town. After 5pm, entrance into the ancient town is free of charge. Hence we did not have to pay for the entrance fee when we stayed here as we got here after 5pm. The night view is beautiful with red lanterns which is different from Wuzhen which are mostly yellow in colour. The town still has the old ancient town feel compared to Xizha in Wuzhen which is more touristy and refurbished. It is worth staying here one night and enjoy the night view before heading to other nearby destinations the next day. Though we did not need to pay for the entrance ticket after 5pm, access to the attractions within the ancient town like the tuisi gardens etc requires the ticket for verification if you wish to visit these places the next day. The rooms in this hotel looks better in person than in the photos shown in the trip.com website. The beds are big and the antique furnitures gives a very oriental ancient vibe.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Beautiful, charming hotel with antique-style rooms, comfortable beds, and a lovely courtyard. Friendly host, who was very helpful in spite of the language barrier, and who came to collect us from the entrance to the town.

The location is in the ancient town, next to the Three Bridges, and very close to the rowing boat dock. The Chinese-style courtyard and guest rooms are antique, and I slept comfortably. My grandma even made breakfast for me early, which was as warm as home.

The B&B is located at the third bridge in the scenic area, at the south gate of Tongli, on a stone road. We called the boss and he was there in 5 minutes. The electric car helped us carry our luggage and told us how to get to Sanqiao. We also upgraded the room, which is very beautiful, with ancient furniture, as if we have traveled through time. The bed is big, soft and very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water. The room is very clean and has all the supplies. Five-star Inn, many stars film and live here, so happy! The courtyard on the first floor is very simple and elegant, with flowers, fruits and trees, perfect for taking pictures. You won’t want to leave if you live here! When leaving the store, the boss also helped take the luggage to Beimen Smart Rail Station. The location is good and it is convenient to go anywhere! Live quietly and sleep well!

I chose a small courtyard house, which is separated from the owner's house. It is very suitable for a family of three. It is quiet, clean and well-equipped. The owner lives in a large house, which is simple, elegant and exquisite. The owner is a person who loves life very much. The courtyard is full of vitality and the grapes on the rack are delicious. I have recommended it to my friends to live next month.

Tongli is an ancient town that is not so commercialized yet. There is no crowd. Jingyitang is a famous old shop in the ancient town. The boss is very nice and the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, like an elder brother. I will come again next time.

Hello, the owner, checked in at 8pm, personally met at the entrance of the scenic spot, turned on the air conditioner in the bedroom, and entered the room to retreat from the heat. The indoor environment is comfortable and tidy, with a carved bed and a dressing table, as if traveling through the Republic of China period.
