After a short rest in the hotel, we ordered some barbecue as a midnight snack. Because we were too tired, we didn’t plan to go out to play. We chose to find a movie to watch in the hotel, ”Dragon Babu”, and the volume was adjusted to the minimum. The conversation with friends was also at a normal volume. There was absolutely no yelling or screaming. Suddenly, a boy who sounded very young came to knock on our door and warned us that if If we continue to quarrel, we will not be polite. We were a little scared when we heard a rapid knock on the door. Then we heard his accusations and threats against us, which we found incredible because we did not scream or shout. We just had a normal conversation while eating and watching movies. We knew that the other party was very angry. We understood that it was because of the poor sound insulation of the hotel, so we chose to turn off the TV and contacted the front desk staff. The customer service brother at the front desk was very considerate and afraid that we would be hurt. He told us that if the other party made any move to hurt others, they should not act on their own. Here, I want to say that first of all, the poor isolation of the hotel is an objective reason. Secondly, we didn’t know it at the beginning, and we turned on the TV at the lowest sound. If we turned it down one gear, it would be silent mode, and we could talk and chat normally. Everyone paid the same money to come here to stay in the hotel. No one knows the situation of the other party. The hotel is not a dormitory. Even if you think that the hotel is a dormitory, everyone should turn off the lights and sleep quietly? Even if the hotel has poor sound insulation and the other party does not know that the hotel has poor isolation, can you just come up and knock on the door and warn us and threaten us? You can call the front desk and tell them that the next door is too noisy and let the front desk communicate with us, instead of suddenly running over and knocking on the door to try to threaten us. I also hope that the hotel can improve the sound insulation. Although the TV volume is at the lowest and the conversation is normal, I was threatened. The sound of people walking upstairs can be heard clearly. I have stayed in Home Inn for so many times, and this is the first time I have seen such a situation.

Front desk was very helpful - depends on the shift. But mostly friendly and helpful. Washing machine facilities readily available, if the staff are free, they will help to put in for you in the dryer. Hotel was also clean and very accessible to all places! There is a lingering garden in the garden... It is not far from the Huqiu Pagoda of China... The most important thing is Shantang Street, where there are many delicious foods and drinks... Staff are very nice and helpful. Hotel is close to many attractions & from the hotel you can walk around the old town. Easy to find something to eat there are many local restaurants around the hotel. Very convenient hotel for the area around the big pants! You can walk to see the musical fountain in 15 minutes. Also convenient for the half marathon and the manager left some snacks for marathon runners. The room was everything I expected, the bed was comfortable and there was a couple of English movies on the TV. Would recommend if travelling on a budget.
