Brenaissance Wine & Stud Estate Reviews

Our group of 10 ladies had a fabulous and enjoyable stay at Brenaissance recently. From the minute we arrived, Josh and the team looked after us and ensured we had a relaxing time. Nothing was too much trouble and our daily breakfast chat times on the pool deck with bottomless cappuccino's was the best. The rooms were clean and facilities were modern, neat and comfortable. I can definitely recommend Brenaissance for a wonderful holiday and weekend away in the heart of the winelands.

It was a wonderful experience. The facilities were great, the venue beautiful and the staff amazing. I will recommend this beautiful venue to anyone that wish to be in the winelands and enjoy quiet surroundings.

The views are stunning and the decor is so classy! We loved our stay and found the hotel manager so accommodating and lovely! The breakfast was delicious and the pool was great. It was a bit cloudy when we were there so didn’t get to use it but would have loved to!

A beautiful setting, and wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in the Orchard 2 bedroom cottage which was gorgeous, and had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, spacious open plan lounge, dining & kitchen opening up on to a lovely verandah with braai area. The breakfast was perfect and served at the swimming pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stunning property, gorgeous gardens, nice pool and decorated beautifully. Lovely greeting and we were gifted a bottle of wine as it was our anniversary. However, as this is marketed as a luxury stay don't think it lived up to this and wasn't value for money. Stayed in honeymoon suite, huge and beautiful but needs some attention on minor maintenance and cleaning bugs from roof, as well no where to really put anything in bathroom or luggage. Chandelier at head height in front of bathroom sinks. There were shower gels and shampoo but no conditioner or body lotion. Towels small, bed hard and sheets not exactly luxury. Breakfast was not up to expectations with very limited option. Staff didn't know what they were doing. Just felt more cost cutting than luxury.

We had our wedding at Brenaissance. After a year of planning, from another country. Brenaissance exceed our expectations. It was a wonderful and memorable occasion. I would recommend adding bar fridges to the vineyard suites and a bigger fridge in the bridal suite.

We had a nice stay for one night. Good parking. Charming little house with a large bed, big clean bathroom. Thr livingroom had a romantic fireplace. Breakdast in the morning was super. Thr people are so friendly an nice. We recomend this place for everybody. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Such a beautiful place. We loved our nights there. The staff and the rest of the team were amazing. Highly recommend!! The wine is delicious too…..

My husband and I recently stayed at Brenaissance. Not only was it wonderful but the staff really go beyond the call of duty. We love the tranquility, setting and ambiance of the whole place. It is a special place which we will most definitely be returning to!

Friendly and helpful staff that welcomed us at the property - great host - spacious and clean room - The property is beautiful and clean, relaxing atmosphere - great breakfast - options was enough and food was delicious

First the positive thing: It’s a really beautiful and calm place with nice rooms. Unfortunately that’s all. The toilettes work with rainwater that’s not filtered. So they look dirty and brown. This water is also provided for washing your hands in the public areas like restrooms at the pool or at the event location. It’s not really hygienic. When there’s a power blackout (you often have it twice a day for a few hours) they don’t provide power by a generator or solar power. Then also the toilettes don’t work. For an estate like this, this is a No Go. Breakfast is only served until 09:30, after that there’s no possibility to buy/drink something at the pool, you have to buy water at the supermarket and can make an instant coffee in your room. In our room one side of the shutters that cover the door was missing so that it was bright as day from 05:30 on. We were there also for an event. Some drinks from the drinks menu (which was coordinated in advance) weren’t available.

The location and the rooms are exellent. Very quiet location. The two ladies were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Distance to Stellendam about 10 Minutes. Don´t sell the old wine anymore, it tasted really bad
