"everything was perfect until the last moment. rooms were clean and staff were friendly. was prepared to give a perfect review until the breakfast before checking out. the staff in charge of the noodle station was poor. promised everyone to make noodles and went missing after leading to an extremely long line and when pushed by the manager, he begrudgingly came out and made the noodles with a poor attitude. spoilt the perfect experience. will still recommend this hotel as it is clean and comfortable."

"Our stay far exceeded our expectations! We had some initial concerns after reading a few reviews mentioning issues, but our actual experience was fantastic! 1. The hotel's location is superb; there are plenty of dining and drinking options right downstairs, and it's convenient for visiting all the attractions. 2. Before our arrival, a staff member called to confirm our check-in time. The security guard at the entrance helped us with our luggage, and check-in at the front desk was swift. We arrived around 8 PM, and the lovely front desk staff, noticing we needed dinner, proactively offered us a voucher to use at the hotel restaurant. So, our first meal in Taiyuan ended up being at the hotel. It was a little on the expensive side, but the food was delicious, averaging ¥80 per person. 3. The hotel offers laundry facilities, which is very convenient. My only minor complaint is that three washing machines seem a bit few; it would be great if they could add more. 4. The room was just right for two adults and one child, and it was kept clean. However, the bathroom has a semi-open design, requiring both a curtain and a sliding door to be closed for full privacy. Breakfast was fairly average, and essentially the same both days. One slightly inconvenient feature was that the room lighting is controlled entirely by 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant), without separate wall panels. This wasn't always convenient, and interacting with Xiao Du wasn't always smooth. I really hope they consider switching back to traditional light switches for greater flexibility. Despite these minor points, I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"I booked a suite at Shanxi Hotel. Oh boy, what a stay!!! The hotel looks like a courtyard. The receptionist and the bellboy were all very cordial. They carried my luggage to the room for free. Our room was in another building so they advised us we could check out without coming back to the reception desk again. Just leave the keys in the room. The room was quite spacious with lots of amenities. I am very surprised they offer in-room laundry detergent and electric cloth dryer for hanging clothes. They consider every aspect of my stay and I would give them 5 out of 5 stars."
