"Fun experience staying in a tulou! As the listing says, it's a shared bathroom outside the tulou structure and a plastic bucket outside your room if you need to pee in the middle of the night and don't want to go out far. Bring your own toilet paper and soap just in case they've run out in the shared bathrooms. The room itself was nice and ours on the top floor had a window. Power and wifi worked great. The hostess was super kind and brought us to our room, made sure we could find our way back, and offered us tea. I'd recommend for the unique experience!"

"The B&B is a very unique Fujian earth building. It was passed down from the owner's family and has a very historical heritage. The earth building is very Nanjing style. The earth building has two floors. I live on the second floor. The room is very comfortable and the facilities are all the same. Everything is available. Living here feels like traveling back to two hundred years ago. The owner’s family are very nice and are very close to us Jilin people. They are very simple and enthusiastic. They invited us to drink tea and invited me to drink autonomous rice wine. Here Although I only stayed for one night, I was very happy. Being the first establishment directly beneath the main viewing platform, it offers unparalleled convenience for guests to ascend and admire the panoramic scenery multiple times, both at dawn and dusk. The owner's hospitality was outstanding. He proactively shared route suggestions that helped us avoid numerous inconveniences, saved significant costs, navigated tricky junctions, and led us to many distinctive sights, including fruit groves, forests, and tea fields. Regarding the accommodations, it's important to remember this is a mountain setting, and with the recent rainy season, facilities are understandably modest. However, the pricing reflects this context and provides an authentic, rustic experience that urban hotels simply can't offer. Above all, the food here is absolutely scrumptious! Dining in is a must to savor their delicious Hakka-style cuisine. My biggest takeaway is the owner's genuine warmth and the wonderfully relaxing mountain environment, offering a perfect, temporary escape from the city's ceaseless clamor."

"What an amazing experience to live in the “chopsticks” buildings of the four dishes and one soup! This was a small and beautiful village and the family who ran the inn helped us carry our luggage up to the inn and later down to the inn. When we arrived they cooked a dinner which was reasonable in price based on a local menu. And then during dinner, they told us that one of the family members will be running a free tour of the Tulous of four dishes one soup for us in which they explained the history of the building of the tulous, especially the oval shaped tulou. Our guide was very funny with his stories (he spoke in Chinese) and it was a lovely time seeing the artists and candy makers in the Tulous. I would highly recommend this place. We did have to bring our own towels (or at least we brought our own and they didn’t supply one), so maybe best to check."

"On the edge of the county seat, it can be regarded as a transit place. It is very convenient to go to Tulou and high-speed railway stations. You don’t need to think about driving by yourself. It’s suitable for one person or two people."
