"What a great spot, amazing views, so close to everything.
Bed was very comfortable, amenities were perfect. so clean and tidy and a nice basket of goodies to enjoy.
Our only negative was being right by front door when other guests came in at 3am, noisily chattering outside in the hall way and doors banging closed. (for other guests reading this please be mindful of this when you are coming in at night)
Other than that we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend."

"Must give great praise, the lady who went to the reception was very enthusiastic, and gave us an upgraded room for free! The boss is also very good, gave us a free breakfast, and the price is very reasonable! If you have the chance to choose his home again, there are electric blankets for Chinese people. This is the best point. Parking is free and convenient!"

"Stayed 3 nights at Ibis Auckland. Check-in wasn’t the best — the guy at the front desk seemed pretty grouchy and not very welcoming. Got to the room and found out the aircon and in-room oven weren’t working, which was a letdown. Had to switch rooms the next day, but thankfully the staff after that were much friendlier and more helpful.
The new room was okay — clean and decent for the price. But the TV remote was a bit of a pain to use, and there wasn’t much space to hang clothes, which made things a bit inconvenient. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a short stay.
Overall, not a bad place, but could definitely improve on service and room maintenance"

"The room facilities are all available, and the laundry detergent wash combo toilet paper and other consumables are regularly replenished and enough to use. The room is sunny, the sun is full every day, very warm, and there is almost no need to turn on the air conditioner. The sanitation is very good, and the bedding will be replaced regularly. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, responsive, in short, it is a very good stay experience!"

"Loved the location. Loved the Harbour views. So pleased upgraded for separate bedroom.
A big plus is outside seating outside front and back depending on weather. Always good to sit out of the unit even though weather this time did not allow it. Definitely will be going back"

"It was our first day in NZ and this hotel was a lovely surprise on a rainy day.
The room was tiny as an old convent room, however well equipped, with a unique decor.
The restaurant within the hotel l, Ada is also extremely good and worth to try."

"We arrived late at night but check in was simple. Decent location with a short walk to the China town area of Auckland with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again and happily go to any other lylo locations too!

"It faced the park, so it was quiet and nice. The shared kitchen was spacious and had a microwave, cooking utensils, and tableware. I also felt that the shared bathroom was well-used. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a supermarket nearby and a bus stop nearby, so it wasn't that inconvenient. I'd like to stay here again if I come to Auckland."

"The decoration style is more characteristic. I went on the National Day holiday. The Mitsubishi air conditioning heating effect is very good. There is a burger takeaway shop nearby called hambagu. It is the best restaurant nearby. There is also a Japanese beef rice in the store. It is unexpectedly delicious. This is suitable for takeaways. Because the table is a bit cold at the door in early October. In addition, there is a Chinese restaurant in a very close place. I forgot what the menu is."

IIreneThis is a lovely new hotel not far from the airport, brilliant for late arrivals and early departures. We enjoyed a nice dinner via room service and well stocked breakfast buffet, which is important because there seems to be no eateries around the area. The staff were great and facilities were clean and new. There is a very busy airport hotel bus and you need to buy your ticket in advance from the machine at the bus pick up zone. It's a challenge if lots are trying to get on, with luggage. We tried that one way but got an Uber back the next day, and it was cheaper, quicker and so much easier for 2 people.

DDan SudakovIt's an ordinary hotel 20 minutes walk from the airport. The price is testy, it is not worth its money. Only chose it because of the overnight layover in Auckland. Really pissed off that there is no comforter cover - the comforter is between two sheets. So if you want to lie on your side, the bottom sheet can shift and then you will touch the body of the dirty blanket. The hotel for this price should buy a duvet cover with zipper or buttons because using sheets is horrible! It was not comfortable for me as a customer.

WWong Wai ManA fantastic experience of our 7-nights staying in Royal Residency! The apartment is conveniently located in a local suburb, closed to almost all big names supermarkets especially with a few Asian Grocery nearby. Commute to CBD or hot spots via driving is easy! The apartment is quite new and is properly housekeeped and managed. Tanishq was very responsive to all our requests, really appreciated! Just one last point… the oven should have been checked prior to our arrival. We will definitely stay again if we ever have a chance coming back to New Zealand!

Ffairuz mamaIt has the best location, near a bus stop, walking distance to skye tower, Britomart station, albert park, Auckland fish market, viaduct and a lot more. I ended up not using my train card. They have a very friendly staff at reception.
As for the housekeeping, was not happy because they just fixed my bedsheets, throw trash but did not vacuum the floor and clean the toilet room.

The location of the hotel is very good, just at the seaside of Half Moon Bay, a few steps away from the door to see the pier full of private yachts. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, and the walking distance is only 20-30 meters.

DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

The location is amazing because it is really super close to the airport and they offer shuttle service.
Service was good but there was no reception and had to go to the motel next door, but the staff there was very helpful.
