"A very nice location for walking anywhere in the old city with lots of shops and restaurants very near. The room is very large with a ceiling fan and strong ac. The small refrigerator was also nice. Didn’t try the ancient tv but the WiFi was good. As some others have mentioned the outside noise like animals and people sounds come into the room but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast views are amazing. The food was a small buffet that changed one of the main dishes every day so you won’t get too bored. A very nice choice and a great value. I would definitely stay again next time."

"We had 4 nights here, the room was great and cleaned daily. The occasional drain whiff, but I believe that’s the norm in Laos. At times it was a little noisy our room was at the back and the laundry area behind us. The biggest issues trying get any information from the staff, none spoke English and Google translate is really poor for translating to Laos. It was a shame as I ended up booking trips and bus tickets from another hotel just down the road, as I couldn’t get the to understand what I wanted. One of the temples was right behind our room, you could hear the drum for prayers each morning."
