"Based on google map, the lane to this hotel is wrong. So i had to walk a bit after my taxi dropped me off at the wrong location. The staff at reception, Wan and Lo (sorry for wrong spelling) are absolutely wonderful. Pleasant and polite especially the male staff. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and bathroom huge with beautiful floor tiles. The only negative experience i had was at breakfast, when i asked a female staff which food had meat - i only take Halal or vegetarian food - and was told the spring rolls were vegetarian. When i bit into it, there was meat inside!! That was extremely upsetting for me!! Suggestion- place labels at the serving dish to indicate vegetarian dishes or otherwise. There are many Europeans who are vegetarians too so it will be useful to have such labels. Rooms should have a chair in it for those who want to do work at the tv counter."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The location is really good. The facilities are impressive and well-maintained, making everything convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. Additionally, the laundry service was efficient and reliable. "A very nice location for walking anywhere in the old city with lots of shops and restaurants very near. The room is very large with a ceiling fan and strong ac. The small refrigerator was also nice. Didn’t try the ancient tv but the WiFi was good. As some others have mentioned the outside noise like animals and people sounds come into the room but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast views are amazing. The food was a small buffet that changed one of the main dishes every day so you won’t get too bored. A very nice choice and a great value. I would definitely stay again next time."

"Very new hotel, very clean and comfortable, the bath water is large, and the breakfast is rich. Out of the room is the swimming pool, the children have a super fun! The hotel owner is a pair of Vietnamese brothers and sisters, they are very capable and friendly. The hotel was well managed. I originally planned to stay for 2 nights and change to a star hotel. The result was too satisfied and stayed for 3 more nights. I stayed for 5 nights. The surrounding area is also very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk from the massage shop cafe supermarket fruit stall chartered car point. There is a cash machine opposite the intersection. recommend!"

"Staying at the Secret Hotel in Luang Prabang was truly the most surprising choice of our trip! Five stars is a must! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the Mekong River. Our room's balcony faces the river, and every evening I can curl up in a rattan chair and watch the sunset. The setting sun paints the river a golden red, and the distant mountains create a breathtaking spectacle. Evening dining is also convenient. It's very close to the Old Town, where a variety of unique shops, cafes, and night markets are just a short walk away, allowing you to experience the hustle and bustle without being disturbed by the hustle and bustle. My most unforgettable experience was the morning alms giving. The hotel is close to the main street in the old town, so I didn't have to get up early to travel; I could quietly watch the locals perform their devout almsgiving. "A nice little hotel, feels very cozy, with solid wooden floor and a few decorations in traditional style. Staff speaks good English, friendly and helpful. In the morning - hearty breakfast, three options - western, Asian, and Laotian. Easy access to everything, but not on the main street - quiet and peaceful. There is a gate to Mount Phousi just a few steps away. Double glazed windows do a good job blocking out the heat and occasional traffic noise. Aircon and ceiling fan👍 Bed has a good firmness to it (I really don't like too soft a mattress). Overall clean - not new, but that's the atmosphere! Would definitely stay again."
