Find2-Star Hotels in Kuala Terengganu

I stayed at Suite 18 Boutique Hotel during my trip to Kuala Terengganu, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Chinatown and within walking distance to Pasar Payang, street art, and plenty of local eateries.

Cheap and ok for a night. The room did have a window but it was to an AC unit on the inside of the building but I suppose it was cheaper. Personally I would have preferred to just find another hotel by walking around but convenient to book online and not have to do that. Location is a bit out of the way but good to go running along the beach and some nice local eating places nearby.

It’s within walking distance of Pasar Payang and Masjid Zainal Abidin. However, the main drawbacks were the lack of complimentary coffee or tea despite having an electric kettle, and the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned or the towels changed during the stay.

Very strategic location. 2minutes walk from kuala terengganu bus station, 10 minute walk to pasar payang and closed to others shops too. Room was clean and well maintain. Water pressure the best. Thanks for the early check in. Definitely will come back if i were in terengganu.

The rooms are very large, one room has two big beds and the other has one big bed, enough for the elderly and children. The rooms are very distinctive, classical Chinese style and clean. However, after I booked it on Ctrip, I couldn't find the payment record in the hotel. If you pay cash at the hotel, you can use Alipay, but it is charged at the exchange rate of 1.8. The actual price is dozens of dollars more expensive. Finally, let’s talk about the horror incident we encountered and remind everyone to pay attention. After checking in the hotel and putting away our luggage, we went out to eat. When we came back, we asked the elderly to take the children upstairs first, and I went to buy water. When I came back from buying water, I saw the old man and the child downstairs, saying that the door of the room could not be opened and the key could not be turned in. I went upstairs and tried it and unscrewed it easily. Very strange, so I suspected that there was someone in the room when the old man came back. After experimenting, I held the door lock (the old-fashioned spherical lock) with my hand inside, and my family used the key to open the door outside, and it couldn't be screwed, just like the previous situation. Fortunately, all the valuables were carried with him. Fortunately, the old man went downstairs after being unable to open the door, and did not stay at the door of the room all the time. Although there is no evidence to prove whether someone was actually in the room at the time, I still tell you about this experience and remind everyone that you must pay attention to safety when you go out!

If i go vacation in Kuala Terengganu again, i will repeat the same hotel again and again. Friendly staff, clean, nice interior design and easy to park with various shop nearby! And close to the town too!

Arrived late around 4pm and the checked inn was smooth. This hotel got lift so it will be no problem. Got free parking behind the hotel within 100meters. Room was acceptable as we used to sleep only so dont really care so much. It was good budget stay if u are travelling here. Overall was a fine stay
