nice clean and modern hotel, friendly staff with a nice buffet breakfast. about 20 min walk to the old town and 10 min walk to the beach. poor wifi for remote working and front of hotel is at the back of building so slightly confusing finding it for the first time. overall good hotel for short stays in Split!

The hotel was really great and peaceful, it has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere and the staff just made it even better. Great service. The room was also modern and nice. I can just recommend.

The hotel room is very comfortable. In a new hotel, the breakfast is average. In a hotel with a restaurant, the breakfast is generally decent. Overall it's ok, clean and hygienic, with options.

The road outside the hotel parking lot is not well maintained, and there is no tissue paper provided in the room, so guests who check in later need to prepare it themselves.

The hotel service, cleaning condition, and breakfast were all good. When I arrived in Split, it rained, so I had a hard time finding the hotel access road.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room at Hotel Pax, it was cosy and clean and had a view of the sea which we were happy about! The staff were all friendly and helpful. They offered us suggestions of things to do, places to visit, and reliable companies to use for activities as it was our first time in Croatia. We would comfortably pick to stay here again. We did encounter a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay: 1) The breakfast options were basic and remained the same each day, which led us to explore dining out instead. 2) The shower was a tiny, which made it a little challenging to use comfortably. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk down to Kupalište Trstenik public beach, and about a 30-minute walk along the coast to the Split Riva. We enjoyed doing this walk in the sunshine! If not, booking a 10-minute taxi was always an option. Being slightly away from the Split city centre allowed us to enjoy local restaurants and bars, where prices were about half of what we found in the Riva and within Diocletian's Palace.

Booked months in advance, reservation confirmed etc. — and then they emailed 1 week before travel to inform that the booking had been cancelled by the hotel. No further explanation provided. Impressive… Some more characters because TripAdvisor insists

Hotel has 3 stars so you do not expect much but it was ok. Bathrooms are not the newest fashion but they are clean. There are some damages in the bathroom but since it is 3 stars, it is ok. It is near beach and has its own parking space so that is good. Breakfast is not the best but it is ok.

This is a Lovely hotel and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very good choices for breakfast and they also do other meals. The only downside is that it was difficult for us to find, as it is based in a residential area and we didn't arrive until midnight. Also there was no highlighted sign, only a small one near the car park covered in graffiti

I’m really disappointed about this place. Ok, it’s a 3* hotel so don’t expect that much but I found it quite grim. Rooms are really small although the main rooms are well decorated. Toilet/bathroom is sooooo outdated. Multiple things broken - cracked sink, bust shower head, mould on the wall, shower door bust too and safe kept malfunctioning. Breakfast was also awful. Orange juice was actually orange squash. I found Split quite a grubby city and I think this hotel fits into that bracket. Sorry, it’s just not worth it although the parking was free which was nice!

No bottled water, open shower flooding whole bathroom, tiny room not to Superior standard, sea view was a joke, long walk to town, 3 water polo teams arrived and the restaurant was closed except break

My boyfriend and I went on our first visit to Split and stayed in Hotel Pax for 1 week. As we were within a budget, hotel pax was a budget friendly place. The breakfast is great with a wide selection, the staff are very helpful and the outside area was lovely to sit in the evenings with a glass of wine from the hotel bar. A very very special shoutout to Ana B and Slav who made our stay unforgettable. Ana was kind and always asking if we needed anything, just a lovely and polite young lady that was a joy to come across. Slav was amazing, he was so generous and happy everyday - he had a great interest in the history of Croatia and gave us many ideas of activities to do. Slav, we will never forget and we hope you make it to England like you wanted to! There was also a gardener/botanist who was lovely to speak to. Overall, budget friendly and kind people. To get into the centre is £3 by Uber and the best beach we found was 15 minute walk away with bars and restaurants. Thank you!

we were here for a while, a stop for delicious food, delicious because on recommendation from friends, very friendly service, great for an outfit, very clean. Eating fresh large portions//byliśmy tu na chwile, przystanek na pyszne jedzenie, pyszne bo z polecenia od znajomych, bardzo miła obsługa, swietny na strój, bardzo czysto. Jedzenie świeże duze porcje

Wonderful hotel, very comfortable and with kind staff. The access is a bit tricky, but not very complicated. Hotel has a nice front seating area, protected from city noise. Nice place for rest. Not sure about walking area around and city centre distance.
