Stay about 200 nights a year in hotels for work and have to say this BW was a delight. Upon arrival and check in was recognized as a Diamond Select member and given the little goody bag with waters and crackers. Seems small, but earning loyalty status means at this level means you are one of the most loyal of customers. So many BW's fail on that regard lately. Checked in and given a room in the furthest back building, away from traffic, per my request. Although it was a second floor, with no elevators that was only a slight inconvenience from having to lug 2 giant suit cases up on day one, down on day 12. Room was very clean, plenty of pillows, towels, etc. Bed was comfy, but on the hard side. Had a room with a balcony with was a plus. A lot of hotels with a balcony dont have any place to sit, here there were two metal chairs and a small table. Perfect to sit outside and do my end of day wrap up for work on the computer. Wifi was fast with not problems connecting or remaining connected which is sometimes a problem. Once check in I never went to lobby for anything, nor went for the breakfast so cant rate them on that. Kept a do not disturb sign out all but one day and was never bothered. The one day I took it down was for a good cleaning that was completed efficiently and well. I'll be back to St George soon and this is where I will be staying. Giving this a BIG YES!

I truly don’t like to give businesses negative reviews, unless they really deserve it…well, the Red Lion in St. George deserves it. I drove in from Riverside, CA on my way to Colorado for business, and I had my dog with me. I booked the room through hotels.com, and while other hotels had explicit pet fees listed right up front, the Red Lion’s listing did not, so I assumed I would be paying the standard rate for a room at a pet friendly hotel (which was about $70 for a night, pretty average and reasonable). Upon arriving after a 5-hour drive and getting in around 3:00 am, I was informed by the night clerk (who took almost a 1/2 hour to check me in because of “computer issues”) that there would be an additional non-refundable $100 pet fee, and of course $12 in taxes just for the pet fee. I asked her why this wasn’t clearly stated on the listing on hotels.com, and her response was “take it up with them.” Once I got to the room, I did find this policy buried under the “Policies” section of the Red Lion listing, so there wasn’t anything I could do about it. Upon finally getting my door key and finding my room, I walked into an unsecured door to find my hallway, which had disgusting carpet and was littered with chip crumbs. I needed to fill my cooler with ice, so I took it downstairs to the ice machine. Once I had my cooler filled with ice and now heavy, I realized that the hotel had no elevator, so I had to find a hand dolly and pull my cooler up a flight of stairs, step by step. My actual room had large stains on the linens and a very musty smell, on top of being just very outdated. The front desk gave me a late check out of 12:00, so I was there for 9 hours and spent almost $200 on the hotel stay. I wouldn’t have minded the dinginess of the accommodations so much if the room had been more reasonably priced. But for $185 per night, I expect A LOT more from a hotel than what the Red Lion offered. The hotel does have a pool and basketball courts and a pool table and a lot of other things that I didn’t use, and I imagine it’s probably more aimed at families or traveling sports teams or whatever. So, maybe if that’s you, you’ll have a better experience at the Red Lion than I did. But if you’re just needing a place to crash with your dog for the night while driving through Utah, find somewhere else. I stayed at a pet-friendly hotel last summer in Richfield for about $80-per-night, and that is where I will be staying again the next time I drive I-15 through Utah…NOT at the St. George Red Lion.

I just returned from a trip to St. George for golf that my group has been attending for over 20 years with 50 guys that flew in from all over the US. The last hotel that we were staying at for 12 years had new management and decided that they could not accommodate us regardless that we helped them with our visits for two years during CoVid-19. Mindy the Sales Manager was eager to meet all of our hotel accommodations. The Staybridge Suites was a fantastic property, clean, comfortable and very functional for our group. David the engineer and his team were always present if the need for service noticed. Lena and her kitchen staff did a spectacular job of making sure that our breakfasts were not only delicious but made sure we could be feed in time to meet our tee times. Also, the afternoon treats and special Awards banquet was above and beyond. We are eager to book our stay at the Staybridge Suites.

We stayed here while passing through to go home. We will definitely return when going to St. George again. We loved that they had the option of both pools and the kids loved the playground! Our room was large and spacious and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a latch lock on the top of the door, so my 2 year old kept trying to leave.

Spacious room and excellent breakfast. While it's not cheap, for the price we paid, compared to other hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Utah, the value was excellent. We booked a 1 bedroom suite in the South Building and had a nicely sized suite that had a separate bedroom for my husband and I and our kids shared the sofabed. The bathroom was large and there was a second sink outside the bathroom, which was helpful for four people. We didn't really use the efficiency kitchen since we only stayed one night but it would have been handy if we had stayed longer. The pool area was small but provided plenty of fun for us. The breakfast was the real star. Definitely the best included breakfast we had during our 2 weeks. Lots of hot and cold choices and the make-your-own belgian waffles were far superior to a Days Inn we stayed at the night before. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in St. George.

Staff was great all around, rooms were clean and looks like all had a view either North or South, pool area was clean. What made me choose this property was the reviews about the breakfast, so I chanced it and lost. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to write home about, although I have had much worse breakfasts at properties, I’ve also had much, much better so I decided it would be better to hit the local coffee shop and that was great.

Our room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. A light fixture was filthy from an apparent roof leak and no one thought to clean it. Primarily was shocked by the ignorance of the hotel staff. My wife has mobility issues and cannot negotiate stairs well. She wanted to go to the pool area, but was disappointed that the ONLY gate that did NOT have any steps was LOCKED! The pool has a lift for disabled people, but a disabled person cannot even get into the pool gated area since every other entrance has steps! I called the front desk and was told that they keep that gate locked because children go in and out of the gate and that disturbs other guests. Apparently children cannot get in and out of any of the other gates with stairs. Apparently other guests have priority over disabled guests! I told the front desk staffer that this was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and she told me that if a disabled person wanted to use the pool, all they had to do was ask for the gate to be unlocked. Asking for help like this is in itself a violation of the ADA! Under the Act, a disabled person must be allowed to use a facility just like anyone else, to the fullest extent possible, without essentially asking for permission or special treatment. I asked for the owners' contact information and was refused. If you have mobility issues, and want to use the pool at this hotel, I'd suggest finding another hotel. Such an insult to Americans with disabilities, including our veterans and others! Such ignorance!

郭郭Convenient transportation, typical motel, environment and facilities compared to his price, very cost-effective, free parking. The front desk was a lady who had dinner last year when I was seated, super friendly. I went to the Thai restaurant she recommended. The taste is amazing, and it is the restaurant that the locals love. If you only require comfort and convenience, it is the best choice.
We’ve stayed here several times in the last 6 years, and the property has continued to be beautifully maintained. All of the staff members that we’ve encountered have been welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Even though the free breakfast has the same items available every day, there are a lot of different choices. As usual, our room was clean and there were no obvious signs of wear.
JJoy BTHE WORST. AND A TOTAL NIGHTMARE TO RESOLVE. I changed my three-night reservation after one night. If I'd cancelled the reservation before checking in, I would have been charged for *one* night. Now this hotel is holding two additional nights, after agreeing to refund me the balance. Why I could not get out there fast enough: This hotel was depressing and had a strange chemical smell throughout the hallway and room. I was given a room overlooking the freeway and a car dealership -- or something like that -- with considerable light and noise. The ”kitchen” has no utensils -- not even forks. You have to go downstairs and ask for them. They allow you ”one free beverage” per day. When I asked to cancel the rest of the reservation: This reservation was made through Delta Airlines' hotels reservations. I contacted Delta after one miserable night at this place. Delta put me on hold and called the hotel. Delta then came back on the line and said that the hotel would release me from the rest of the reservation and refund me the balance. Relying on that representation from the hotel, I left this hotel, expecting the remaining two nights to be refunded. I ended up staying at the Red Mountain Resort up the road for the SAME PRICE. (check it out! it's lovely!) It's been nearly a week and no refund. Today, Delta contacted me and said the hotel is refusing to refund the balance that it had promised to refund. Now Delta is saying the hotel refuses to issue the refund. Not only is this hotel not worth the money, but it now is engaging in fraud.
GGuest UserWe booked a King room through Trip.com. However, when we arrived, the Hotel informed us that we booked a Standard Room and gave us a two queen room. We showed them our Trip.com booking confirmation and they simply said we should book directly through the hotel. They refused to address the issue, offer a compromise/solution or even to apologize for the mix-up. Customer service was absolutely horrible. Needless to stay, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.
Our trip was extended and we booked with a Marriott for our additional nights. They treated us like valued customers and made us feel we were the only ones staying in the hotel. Holiday Inn could learn from other hotels.
Though the hotel is located on the outskirts of town, it is just off the highway and only 10-15 minutes from most restaurants and shops. The hotel is clean, bright and consistent with other Hampton Courts we have visited. This is a good intermediate location on the way to Zion National Park. Tip: take time to visit Snow Canyon State Park on the north side of St. George. You can easily hike the petrified sand dunes.
ZZHISONGI returned to Vegas from Zion. I like this place very much. The people of Utah are very enthusiastic. There is a shooting range nearby, which is very recommended. It is called Rowdys. If you want to come to the United States to shoot a gun, you can definitely arrange it. There are more choices than California, and cheaper than Vegas There are few people. After all, it is not a place with many tourists. There is a self-service car wash downstairs and a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant is very delicious.
GGuest UserThis was a lot nicer than any of the other motels where I have stayed in the St. George area. I am not sure why but this time around it was not much more expensive. Very clean and the pool and jacuzzi were awesome... 'Sparkling Clean'. My sleep quality was down just a notch because the bed was a tad bit too soft for me but still one of the best places I have stayed in the St. George area. My tip is about tips. I don't usually usually do continental breakfasts but we did there and it was GREAT! Only problem is there was a jar for tips and I rarely carry cash so I was not prepared. We left what we could but wished I could have left a bit more. If you are going to stay at the Ramada, grab a few extra bucks so if you feel so inclined to leave a tip you can. I know in this economy a little extra can go along way and at today's food prices, the satisfying continental breakfast will easily save more than you will ever leave as a tip, especially if you have children.
GGuest UserFree parking. SUPER price. SUPER breakfast. At walking distance to fast food restaurants. Fast and accurate check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Coffee machine and fridge in the room. Old bathtub. 1hr to Zion by car.
NNatasha PThis Rodeway is is definitely a great place to go if u are on a tight budget it even has a jacuzzi room 1. They are bilingual 2. You're probably seeking a good deal, a place solely for a night's rest. The price is enticingly low, almost the cost of two rooms at another motel. The online images seemed satisfactory, and the businesslike man on the phone secured your reservation. With a contented sigh, you relish the savings and anticipate the charm of the retro neon SANDS sign. As you head to bed, thoughts of the quaint motel and your thrifty decision lull you to sleep with a faint smile. However, upon arrival, the alluring glow of the SANDS sign fades. The front office, more of a storage closet, hints that your economical choice from last month might have been a misstep. Remembering the other appealing motels you passed, you question the extent of this mistake. It turns out to be worse than anticipated. The air smells of antiquity, and the distant tunes from a scratchy radio echo through the corridors, whisking you back to a bygone era. This place seems like a business where profits aren’t reinvested. The image that comes to mind is someone squeezing an orange for its juice, then relentlessly crushing it to extract every last drop, leaving the rind a messy pulp. That’s precisely what this motel feels like. To add to the dismay, the continental breakfast turns out to be waffles and juice next door at the Coronado. The torn and stained beds, absence of microwaves except in the front office, paper-thin blankets necessitating a perpetually low, noisy AC, and the overall dirt and dilapidation all remind you that this is indeed the town’s cheapest stay.
