We booked a King room through Trip.com. However, when we arrived, the Hotel informed us that we booked a Standard Room and gave us a two queen room. We showed them our Trip.com booking confirmation and they simply said we should book directly through the hotel. They refused to address the issue, offer a compromise/solution or even to apologize for the mix-up. Customer service was absolutely horrible. Needless to stay, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.
Our trip was extended and we booked with a Marriott for our additional nights. They treated us like valued customers and made us feel we were the only ones staying in the hotel. Holiday Inn could learn from other hotels.

Our room has two queen sizes (Queen size) and a sofa bed, which is also more spacious. There is a large free car park outside the hotel and parking is very convenient. The hotel facilities look quite new. The downside is that the noise in the room is a bit loud after the air conditioner starts. It is estimated that some people will be too noisy.

I travel to St George several times a year for work. I usually stay at the Hampton Inn because it’s closer to my meetings. As a Diamond member I stay exclusively at Hiltons and I wanted to try this hotel thinking it would be a bit better stay. Man was I wrong. The staff was friendly but that’s about it. The room was dated. The bed was very uncomfortable, and every time we turned the water on in the bathroom sink there was a strong sulfur(rotten egg) smell. The AC would randomly go off and the room would heat up to almost 80 then kick on. Seemed to always be people drinking outside the front door. The Hampton is cheaper and yet they still provide a free breakfast. Definitely won’t be staying here again. Seems like Hilton might be losing their touch. As other chains are adding to their loyalty programs Hilton is taking them away.

AAnonymous UserPerfect! Very good and comfortable room, good breakfast and pool zone.
GGuest UserI just returned from a trip to St. George for golf that my group has been attending for over 20 years with 50 guys that flew in from all over the US. The last hotel that we were staying at for 12 years had new management and decided that they could not accommodate us regardless that we helped them with our visits for two years during CoVid-19. Mindy the Sales Manager was eager to meet all of our hotel accommodations. The Staybridge Suites was a fantastic property, clean, comfortable and very functional for our group. David the engineer and his team were always present if the need for service noticed. Lena and her kitchen staff did a spectacular job of making sure that our breakfasts were not only delicious but made sure we could be feed in time to meet our tee times. Also, the afternoon treats and special Awards banquet was above and beyond. We are eager to book our stay at the Staybridge Suites.
550plusGirlontheGoStayed here during our annual trek for Tuacahn theater week. Usually stay elsewhere, but prices were high so we gave Wingate a try. This will be our new ”regular” for theater week. Relatively new property; big rooms; coffeemakers/tea; micro/fridge combo; good tv options. Quiet rooms; great pillow assortment and comfortable beds. Small (but adequate) pool; nice courtyard. Breakfast daily (can't rate as we slept in). Coffee/tea/water available 24/7. Friendly staff. Easy access on/off to I-15. Very short walk to Walmart. Small ***** mall with multiple food options adjacent to property. Wendy's on Corner and full service Chevron station. Nice green space for walking.
GGuest UserStay about 200 nights a year in hotels for work and have to say this BW was a delight. Upon arrival and check in was recognized as a Diamond Select member and given the little goody bag with waters and crackers. Seems small, but earning loyalty status means at this level means you are one of the most loyal of customers. So many BW's fail on that regard lately. Checked in and given a room in the furthest back building, away from traffic, per my request. Although it was a second floor, with no elevators that was only a slight inconvenience from having to lug 2 giant suit cases up on day one, down on day 12. Room was very clean, plenty of pillows, towels, etc. Bed was comfy, but on the hard side. Had a room with a balcony with was a plus. A lot of hotels with a balcony dont have any place to sit, here there were two metal chairs and a small table. Perfect to sit outside and do my end of day wrap up for work on the computer. Wifi was fast with not problems connecting or remaining connected which is sometimes a problem. Once check in I never went to lobby for anything, nor went for the breakfast so cant rate them on that. Kept a do not disturb sign out all but one day and was never bothered. The one day I took it down was for a good cleaning that was completed efficiently and well. I'll be back to St George soon and this is where I will be staying. Giving this a BIG YES!
GGuest UserSpacious room and excellent breakfast. While it's not cheap, for the price we paid, compared to other hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Utah, the value was excellent. We booked a 1 bedroom suite in the South Building and had a nicely sized suite that had a separate bedroom for my husband and I and our kids shared the sofabed. The bathroom was large and there was a second sink outside the bathroom, which was helpful for four people. We didn't really use the efficiency kitchen since we only stayed one night but it would have been handy if we had stayed longer. The pool area was small but provided plenty of fun for us. The breakfast was the real star. Definitely the best included breakfast we had during our 2 weeks. Lots of hot and cold choices and the make-your-own belgian waffles were far superior to a Days Inn we stayed at the night before. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in St. George.
GGuest UserThis was a lot nicer than any of the other motels where I have stayed in the St. George area. I am not sure why but this time around it was not much more expensive. Very clean and the pool and jacuzzi were awesome... 'Sparkling Clean'. My sleep quality was down just a notch because the bed was a tad bit too soft for me but still one of the best places I have stayed in the St. George area. My tip is about tips. I don't usually usually do continental breakfasts but we did there and it was GREAT! Only problem is there was a jar for tips and I rarely carry cash so I was not prepared. We left what we could but wished I could have left a bit more. If you are going to stay at the Ramada, grab a few extra bucks so if you feel so inclined to leave a tip you can. I know in this economy a little extra can go along way and at today's food prices, the satisfying continental breakfast will easily save more than you will ever leave as a tip, especially if you have children.
Ddesertphil2016Our room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. A light fixture was filthy from an apparent roof leak and no one thought to clean it. Primarily was shocked by the ignorance of the hotel staff. My wife has mobility issues and cannot negotiate stairs well. She wanted to go to the pool area, but was disappointed that the ONLY gate that did NOT have any steps was LOCKED! The pool has a lift for disabled people, but a disabled person cannot even get into the pool gated area since every other entrance has steps! I called the front desk and was told that they keep that gate locked because children go in and out of the gate and that disturbs other guests. Apparently children cannot get in and out of any of the other gates with stairs. Apparently other guests have priority over disabled guests! I told the front desk staffer that this was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and she told me that if a disabled person wanted to use the pool, all they had to do was ask for the gate to be unlocked. Asking for help like this is in itself a violation of the ADA! Under the Act, a disabled person must be allowed to use a facility just like anyone else, to the fullest extent possible, without essentially asking for permission or special treatment. I asked for the owners' contact information and was refused. If you have mobility issues, and want to use the pool at this hotel, I'd suggest finding another hotel. Such an insult to Americans with disabilities, including our veterans and others! Such ignorance!
GGuest UserFree parking. SUPER price. SUPER breakfast. At walking distance to fast food restaurants. Fast and accurate check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Coffee machine and fridge in the room. Old bathtub. 1hr to Zion by car.
GGuest UserI'm so grateful for the Red Roof Inn. We had made reservations for a different hotel and when we showed up at that hotel, their pet fee was more than the room itself and then they informed us that we wouldn't even be able to rent the room we reserved because we had a pet. They shooed us away and told us to go ”across the street” to the Red Roof Inn. And I'm so glad they did. At the Red Roof Inn, the first pet is free and the room price was great too. The staff was friendly and they even allowed us a late check out. We were helping my daughter move into a new apartment and didn't want to have to worry about the dog so we left one of our kids with the dog in the room and they allowed us to have a late check out. It was so kind of them. I appreciate them and would stay here again.
