"Astoria was a 1.5-hour drive away from PPS airport. We took the hotel shuttle to and from the airport, and it costed us only 200 per way (the original fare was 250 but we got 20% discount since we were students) which is cheaper than the one offered by private vans at the airport. Upon arriving at Astoria, we were greeted by their welcoming staff with complimentary drinks and locally made necklace. The staff assigned to us gave us a quick tour of the place, and we loved how clean and well-maintained the facilities are. If there’s one thing that guests should know before visiting, it’s that to expect that Astoria sales staff would try to sell you their membership packages. But don’t worry, you can politely decline and Astoria’s sales staff would be very understanding. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Astoria and we will definitely come back!"

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation.
A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal.
The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

GGuest UserThe bats and lizards on the island are the highlights. At sunset in the evening, the bats will leave the island to go out for food. Thousands of bats and the sunset take off, which is very spectacular. The hotel service is also good. When I return to the room at night, all the clothes are folded and the charging cable is rolled up and placed on the table. I live in a garden room. The room facilities are a little older, but overall it is comfortable. New houses are still being built on the island, and the new houses may be better. There are two restaurants on the island, one international restaurant and one Filipino restaurant. No brainer to go to the Filipino restaurant🍴

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a small road, about a 15-20 minute walk from the busiest street. It's a short distance from Zuri. I've stayed at both and each has its pros and cons. The view is still good, and breakfast is decent. The Wi-Fi is mediocre and disconnects frequently. It has its own pier, which is great for watching the sunset. However, it's easy to accidentally end up in a room near the chicken coops; those chickens really crow day and night. I asked the front desk if I could change rooms, but they said they were fully booked. Luckily, Trip.com was very helpful and arranged a room a bit further away, so I finally didn't have to listen to chickens crowing in the middle of the night.

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!

AAngelicaFrom the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free.
Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site.
Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

BBrookeNThe highlight of this hotel is the pool area. It’s right out on the water with a gorgeous view and the pool itself is huge! The rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. The only two issues we had with our stay was that we couldn’t figure out the water heater and some of the cardio equipment in the gym area was malfunctioning. But the staff was wonderful and the hotel was right by the pier so it was very easy to catch the ferry to our next destination.

The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed.

The location is very convenient, close to the main street, but not in a noisy place, you need to walk about 10 minutes, or take a transfer from the hotel, which leaves every 30 minutes. Breakfast is varied and tasty; pancakes and omelettes are prepared upon request. If you are choosing a place to swim in the pool, it is better not here, it is too warm here and with a large amount of chlorine. The hotel is not new, but overall everything is good, they clean it every day! Thank you very much, we really enjoyed it 😍
