Spa Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

My experience of spending my new year’s eve at the hotel was very disappointing. I personally will never ever come back again. In our first room, the biggest issue we faced was that the aircon in the room did not work, and stayed at a constant temperature of 22 degrees celcius even when we adjusted the temperature to the extreme high of 40 degrees. The maintenance team came down on the second day and it was not resolved. We feed-backed to the hotel manager and she assigned us our second room, which had the same issue and we had to call the maintenance team down again. We were also faced with a few new issues of cleanliness such as dirty table tops (e.g. toothpaste residue in the toilet, random hair lying around and in the kettle), and being unable to connect to wifi after the room change. We wasted about 2 hours communicating with different staff teams and trying to settle into our new room. It was exhausting and such a waste of my precious holiday. Another very unpleasant experience I had was regarding viewing of countdown fireworks. When I asked the front desk about free access to the skydeck, the receptionist said that I have to pay a cover charge of RM250 for entry after 10pm on new year’s eve because they would be having a countdown party event. I was really upset about paying a premium price for the hotel rooms in order to gain complimentary access to the skydeck but needing to pay an extra amount for entrance just because it was new year’s eve. I asked the manager about this, and they confirmed that hotel guests could still access the skydeck for free. But even on the day itself, the staff at the lift lobby kept saying that I had to pay RM150 to enter. It was as if they were trying to lead the hotel guests into thinking that they have to pay an additional price to gain access to the skydeck. I was about to blow up before another staff came over to say that hotel guests could go in but we just wouldn’t be given any drinks. We didn’t care about drinks anyway, so why couldn’t they just let us go in after we showed them our room cards?? After we finally made it in, I was disappointed to find the gym closed because it had one of the best views of the twin towers. The staff themselves knew that too, and all went into the gym to take clear videos of the fireworks while we were on our toes struggling to even see the fireworks among the crowd outside. I know staff can have their own privileges but I can’t help but be unhappy about it because just the previous day my partner and I were in the gym discussing about how it had the perfect view and we could exercise while waiting for the fireworks. There were no signs that said the gym would be closed then, so we assumed that it was opened on new year’s eve as well. Fireworks were nice but I was so upset about the situation that I wasn’t able to enjoy it thoroughly. There were also other few areas that bugged me somewhat, but were not the dealbreakers (such as the body lotion being spoilt and smelling sour, or the soap dispenser being very hard to press down, or that there was only one chair in the room and we couldn’t figure out how to sit together while eating in our room, or dirt marks on bathing towel). The wifi in the room was really annoyingly slow (videos get stuck every 2 seconds), and we did feedback to the reception but they could only inform the IT team and nothing else could be done about it. Ofcourse there are plus points, such as the nice fruit plate that were given to us for our anniversary, the big room, the toiletries that were of good quality, good breakfast spread, and friendly staff. As much as I appreciated it, it did not make me feel better because these are part of my expectations for a five-star hotel. Perhaps I had expectations too high for the hotel just because it is a five-star, and may be way too subjective in my review. But all in all, I will not be coming back again.

We enjoy our stay here at Grand Millennium Hotel as the service is great and the staffs are helpful especially the one on the front desk named Ilham. I appreciate his kindness. As we check in quite late at about 4.30pm , but our room is still not ready so the manager decided to upgraded our room to the classic one. We appreciate the gesture. Thank you Grand Millenium for the excellent service. Hope to come here again.

The hotel is in a strategic location with a nice view, making it convenient and pleasant for guests. The check-in process was fast, which is a plus. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement, as there was noticeable dust. The elevators were slow, causing long waits, and the breakfast was average at best. Overall, a mixed experience with some room for improvement.

Pleasant stay at over at Novotel, would definitely stay again. Room was well furnished, clean, elegant looking. Everything was working as expected. Loved that every room also has filtered water, instead of having bottled water provided. Air conditioning was responsive tho a little loud, but not a huge deal for me. Soundproofing of the room was great, don’t hear any noise coming from neighbouring rooms, other than the people when they walk past the rooms, but pretty muted. Service is great. From reception, to concierge, to housekeeping, to maintenance, to room service. Always smiling, greeting, offering assistance. Gym and pool were always clean and well maintained. Lobby was also pleasant and always smelled nice, definitely adds to the experience. Will definitely return!

wanna experience a Kuala Lumpur that without Bukit Bintang Traffic? just come over here. a whole new area, new and everything is just nice. You got Pavilion Damansara (which is the Pavilion 3) just beside the hotel, it’s walking distance! I love their Balmain toiletry and what a huge room! one thing bad is about the car park, I thought was a complimentary car park but end up they need us to pay. Although is just RM2 per day, I still don’t get it why. Also, when I wanna purchase mooncake from them since its mooncake festival, I just done my checkout like 2 mins ago, and walk over to the restaurant to make purchase, I was being told that I’m not entitle for the guest 15% off anymore…cuz I checked out… I was like WHAT?!!!!

Hotel was beautiful and staff were friendly and professional. Room was spacious with nice city view, bed was clean and comfortable as well. However the cream coloured long sofa had obvious stains all over and bathroom sink was kind of shallow so water splatters all over when tap was turned on. Reasonable menu options for in-dining service; food was generally good and generous in portion, only that the lamb shank was tough and dry.

Staycation during CNY ! Everything about this hotel is perfect except : 1. Parking lane at Pan Pac, near the exit is very narrow esp for long cars ! Having a hard time navigating the car to avoid scratches. Park no higher than level 4 to avoid the narrow lane. 2. Toilet ocassionally, emits a strange stinky smell due to drainage issues, but was immediately resolved by the technician. Breakfast is just so so.

One of the best stay and experience. The location is superb. Malls in Bukit Bintang are within walking distance and it's so convenient. Most importantly, the hotel staff service is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I have no bad comments, except the good ones for this hotel :) However, I didn't use the other facilities like the gym or the pool to comment about them. But I took their photos as attached. For me, this hotel was a great stay and I will definitely consider staying here again the next time.

Very beautiful and grand hotel lobby with hippo chair. Delicious breakfast, but staff assigning of table can be better and stricter. One hotel guest A took my cap on my chair and place it next table. So that guest A can use my table. End up it caused confusion and we almost had a conflict with other hotel guest B because this table belongs to guest B which we thought is ours as our cap is there. Luckily the hotel staff manage to direct the hotel guest B to another table and solve the awkward situation. Suggestion to put a occupied sign on each table or something to indicate table is taken. The check-in process could have improved much better. The management should have planned carefully during peak season to hire more part time housekeeping staffs in order to enable smooth check-in. We booked 2 connecting rooms for our 1 night stay. What happened to us whilst 1 room was available; we had to wait for almost an hour for the second room as the housekeeping was late. The management should prioritise those rooms that have been allocated for check-in. The staffs had tried their best, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. Blame the management!
