Spa Hotels in Central Lombok Regency

Quiet hotel in an isolated location. Expect to rent a bike, but thankfully, the concierge organized a private taxi for us (Grab riders are rare outside of the airport). 5/5 service for that.

The location is perfect, very central, the breakfast they offer is correct and good. They don't really show you photos of what the economy room is really like, I guess the other ones are better, in mine the air conditioning didn't work well, there were remains of dead insects on the floor and some kind of larvae of something. The sink was broken, the wall coverings were coming loose, one night of sleeping and that's it.

I booked a one-night stay to explore the area and hotel. The exterior is well-maintained, and the reception staff provided a pleasant welcome. The rooms were modern and clean, though somewhat small for two people. The air conditioning struggled to reach a cool temperature, even at 18°C. We considered extending our stay, but were disappointed by the breakfast, which offered more desserts and cakes than healthy options, so we decided to leave. The pool area was lovely, with a choice of two pools. The gym was adequate, with potential for a good workout, though it was limited to 20kg weight plates. Overall, it's a pleasant hotel in a central yet quiet location.

Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness made me feel right at home, creating a sense of comfort and ease throughout my entire visit. And let's not forget about the fantastic bar staff, Ari, whose expertly crafted cocktails and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. Whether I was lounging by the pool or unwinding after a day of exploring, Ari's impeccable service and delightful drinks were always a highlight of my day. In addition to the outstanding staff, the resort itself boasts breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and an array of amenities that cater to every need. Whether you're seeking relaxation on the pristine beaches or adventure in the surrounding area, Amber Lombok Beach Resort offers the perfect balance of tranquility and excitement. Overall, my experience at Amber Lombok Beach Resort exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the warm welcome from Ardy, Ali, Rusdi, and the fantastic bar staff, Ari. I can't wait to return to this slice of paradise and create more unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable getaway.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and have a pleasant layout, although the cleanliness could be improved, as there were some cobwebs and marks on the walls. The air conditioning was malfunctioning and intermittently stopped working. The pool is wonderful, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. We extended our stay by an additional night but changed rooms due to the air conditioning problem. It is quite expensive considering the location; however, if you can find a good deal, it is worthwhile. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the center and provide free daily activities. I found their restaurant to be quite expensive, double the cost of similar meals in town, which is unfortunate as we would have eaten there if it were more reasonably priced.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool with a beautiful framework, even if it deteriorates in case of rain. I recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights and everything was wonderful! The hotel beach was quite and nice, close to Kuta if you want crowds, rooms are amazing, the staffs hospitality is unbeatable. Special kudos to Suci, Erna, and Udi

The stay at origin was just fantastic . The rooms are clean . Breakfast is excellent with just enough of everything . The pools are kept clean . Motor bike hire reasonable . Out of town so you need a bike to get around . Great stay at Original

View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.
