Top hotel. In my opinion best in Sofia. Fine dining near hotel, friendly place and top concierges. A shout out to Nikolai nedyalkov who found me a barber at 7.30 pm as I was really short on time and too busy. Thanks. My fav stay at Sofia

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Pullman station. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. However, upon my arrival at 8pm, I found that my room was not properly prepared to accommodate customers. The bed was ready with only a bottom sheet and a pillow, the top sheet and a blanket were missing.
The receptionist was fantastic, immediately bringing me everything I was missing: a sheet and a blanket. Despite this inconvenience, my overall experience was good, thanks above all to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

Clean and big. Just opposite the subway station.
And we're lucky enough to live in the side room
The only thing you need to pay attention to is that there is a six-story staircase to take the elevator, and you need to carry it up yourself.
Breakfast is not buffet style but it is very rich!

Very convenient location. Friendly staff who is always ready to help. Stable Internet. Breakfast for 3 stars, OK.
Minorities:
The room heating is made by a common ventilation system that is extremely noisy, sleep with it is difficult even at the minimum capacity. Cleaning leaves you wish the best. Discovered the hair on the floor of the toilet and in bed. The toilet is very dirty. The shower is blocked from the shelf by a non-hydroisolated sewer, water flows beyond the shower. No slippers in the rooms. The doors of the rooms are thin, everything is heard in the corridor. In general the price for the rooms is overpriced in my opinion.

The transportation near the hotel is very convenient. It takes a few minutes to walk to the commercial street. There are also supermarkets nearby. It is very quiet in the residential area. The room is scented but strong. The facilities in the house are a bit old. There is a refrigerator but a bit noisy. The service attitude is very good. People are very friendly. If you have any problems, you can communicate well.

The hotel is near the M1 subway station, there is free parking, there is rail transit nearby, you can go to the parliament building and other hotels on the M1 line of the subway. You can walk to a Chinese restaurant along the rail transit (the double lion is about 800 meters) The taste is really good, the price is not expensive, we 4 people eat 30 yuan Bulgarian Lev, which is 15 euros. There are crispy duck, fish-flavored pork, green vegetables and fried noodles. The hotel breakfast is not bad, the service is very good, there are banks and parks next to it, there is a local restaurant in the park that tastes good and the price is reasonable.

From 1935, this grand old lady works well. The cold war leaves it a little down at heal, but the water is spot on, breakfast good. They have a mini bar unlike some chains so there is a fridge in room to cool drinks as well.
Opposite a ministry and it is location, location and location as the Islandic consulate concurs

Mmikiov1988Todo perfecto. Es un edificio tradicional bien ubicado y agradable, muy limpio y con las instalaciones adecuadas para una estancia corta en Sofía. El desayuno está incluido, con pan tostado, zumo, café, yogur, etc. Muy completo. Lo mejor del hotel es que el propietario te cuenta la historia del país mientras desayunas, lo cual es una experiencia muy interesante porque habla con pasión y sabe muchísima historia. Merece la pena aloj**** aquí solo por eso. Un 10 el anfitrión.

GGuest UserIt is a very beautiful hotel inside out. What does not make this hotel great is the poor service of at least two sections of the hotel from my personal experience. Number one disappointment is the Beauty Salon. I made an appointment for meniscus at 16:30 on September 22. I showed up on time only to be told by the receptionist that the appointment is at 16:45. I told her that is not true and in fact I confirmed it with her twice. It was apparent that someone cut into the line and from our conversation I know she knew it as well. Yet, she was lying through her teeth that is totally beyond me. The worst was yet to come, I was told when I came down again at 16:45, I had to wait for another 20 minutes. That is the end of the story. Second incident is at the “well known” restaurant Mediterra. To make a long story shot, the Greek style calamari I ordered looked as well as tasted like burned wood log. To the main course “beef cheeks” the only thing I could think about it is what I once tasted on a Lufthansa flight business class section is 10 times better.
Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and the receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. I should also add the location of the hotel is very convenient and has easy access to all the main attractions.

AAnonymous UserBecause the flight was very late, I was lucky to catch the last subway from the airport to the city, and it was not too far to walk to the hotel. The room was not very big, as shown in the photos, but the supplies were complete. Maybe it was due to the jet lag, after taking a shower and sleeping on the bed, I felt that it was the most comfortable bed since my trip to Europe.

GGuest UserThe front desk and restaurant staff are enthusiastic and professional, with a strong sense of service. The hotel is in a very good location, and all attractions can be reached on foot. The breakfast is very good, rich and delicious, and you can enjoy the St. Sunday Church opposite while eating breakfast. We booked three rooms and stayed for three nights. The twin room was renovated, and the king room had not been renovated. The wallpaper was damaged, but we liked the traditional design style and the street view.

MMadame CulaiWe were two couples. One in a classic room and one in an Executive room.
Always book an Executive room. It is a typical business hotel room, while the classic room needs urgent attention and looks more like a guesthouse. In the Executive room the toilet was poorly cleaned on arrival and remained so throughout the stay (3 nights). Something unthinkable anywhere else.
The receptionist was friendly despite his poor English, although he gave us the wrong room he realised when we got to the lift.
Breakfast was good. Maybe not what was expected for a 4 star hotel but there was variety including some typical dishes.
Complimentary water but only on the first day.
Views of a police station, and very close to the Governor's Office and the centre of Sofia on an easy and safe path.
No noise despite the casino.
The water in the pool was said to be at 29 degrees. But no. It was FREEZING.
Overall a good experience for the couple in the Executive room.

GGuest UserI booked thinking it would have air conditioning, but it didn't. It was a summer night but luckily it was cool so no problem.
There was a post raising issues with the card for the room key and lights, so I resolved it by inserting another card.
Now you can escape the pain of locking from the inside in the dark.
There was a mysterious hole in the toilet. You can see the piping. I thought it would be better to be invisible here,
