Popular Sofia 4-star Hotels

We stayed for one night. We had informed via email that we would be arriving from Italy around 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. When we arrived at 1:00 PM, the room was not yet ready, and it was handed over to us at 2:30 PM. The reception service is terrible. In the evening, even at 10:30 PM, the bar was already closed. The cleaning lady opened our room at 7:30 in the morning. Although the suite terrace is a well-furnished and very spacious room, the Velux blinds cannot be closed, so you wake up with the first light of the sun. The breakfast is poor and served in the hall. Great location. For a 4-star hotel, they absolutely need to improve the service!!

I booked thinking it would have air conditioning, but it didn't. It was a summer night but luckily it was cool so no problem. There was a post raising issues with the card for the room key and lights, so I resolved it by inserting another card. Now you can escape the pain of locking from the inside in the dark. There was a mysterious hole in the toilet. You can see the piping. I thought it would be better to be invisible here,

Some rooms need renovation. Service was great. Breakfast delicious. The location is next to the airport, but getting there is hard, the street on the map which is going there is actually a offroad gravel road. Alternative way is to ho 2 km to sofia and then make a u,-turn. But I still recommended for one night stands close to airport.

The hotel is clean, the location is VERY comfortable. ... NEARLY FROM THE CENTRE, METRO, AUTO, and ROAD VOGZALS. BREAKFAST TREATIES FOR SOFIA PRICES... And NOTHING special... Friends personal. The TOOL changes every day and sheds 2 bottles of water. There is a teapot in the rooms, the iron is provided for request.

It is located near the city center and it is very convenient to walk to the pedestrian street. However, the hotel is not as big as advertised. The breakfast options are only a few kinds of bread, which is not particularly rich! If you need to take a taxi from the airport to the city center, it only costs 20 local currency. I was charged 40, so be careful!

Clean, perfect location, free parking. The beds are a bit hard and it would be better of you guys check whether the bottles of water in the rooms are full; mines were empty.

The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was extensive and tasty. The location was great, completely walkable to all of the sights. However, the hotel needs a renovation. The room was comfortable and roomy, and the bathroom and bedding were clean. The carpet was stained and needs replacing, and the baseboards are damaged.

There are subway stations, bus stops, tram stops nearby, convenient transportation, the staff at the main station is enthusiastic, paid 20Lv tips before leaving!

My friend and I stayed here for the majority of our stay in Sofia. It was a great location. The hotel is across the street from a beautiful park, it's about a 7 minute walk to a promenade filled with shops and restaurants. It's also very close to public transportation. There is a metro stop across the street, buses, whatever public transportation you need is right outside the door. The room was super quiet. I know there were other people on our floor, but I never heard anyone. It was one of the quietest hotels I've been to, which was awesome since I'm a light sleeper. The water pressure in the shower was good, the drainage was good, and there was room by the sink to place your toiletries. The staff were all nice and helpful. The only negative was that the air conditioner seemed to be central by the hotel. Even if I lowered it, the temperature didn't seem to change. That being said, I would definitely stay there again if I went to Sofia.

The location of this small hotel is superb, right on the main pedestrian boulevard. Easy access to tourist sites and restaurants and cafes. We had two different types of rooms; the first was quite large, but very dim and dark, several light bulbs were out,.Sort of high fashion, but zero function. There was a desk with no lighting on it to work, no place to plug in devices, the shower leaked in a big way all over the floor, not enough ttowels. Would only give us one key ”because they often aren't returned”. Lobby is tiny, utilitarian only. The second room was much smaller; again, the desk had no light above it or on it where one could work. No place to plug in devices, not even a location for one suitcase, let alone two that two people travel with. Didn't eat breakfast as it was too expensive and there are lots of good cafes nearby with excellent espressos and pastries. Would not stay here again.
