Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore on Havelock Reviews

It's an old hotel with service. After 8pm they claim there is no room service whatsoever. Felt absolutely lack of attention as a guest. I couldn't believe I paid SGD 260 for a room. Extra bed cost me ard SGD67. The balcony was a joke that you wouldn't even want to step out there. The balcony came with an electric door lock which didn't fully function. The staying experience was awful and I would rather spend my money on other smaller hotels. Like I was staying at a 50s hotel. Didn't even get a bottle of water as well. I had to get everything from the 7-11.

having a balcony was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel for a staycay. although dated, cleanliness well maintained.

Location: far from mrt. When it rains, it is not comfortable because u still need to walk along the road to get in the hotel Amenities: just right for normal travel Cleanliness: dust is everywhere in the tables and cabinet Hotel friendly?😌🧐We arrive early with a kid; but no consideration for early check-in. They are asking additional pay. No big lobby to rest with, just a small one good for 3 person. There's a hotel more nearby. Just choose them with better price.

Was a wonderful stay. Clean and nice hotel. Bathroom was a bit small but was clean too. Single bed was small. They have the special voice operating system which supposedly allows you to use voice to switch on off lights, set air con temperature etc..but it did not work for me at all. Overall nice place to stay and fuss free.

I book room 402 with balcony.but can’t open. Call down reception waiting for so long never come … hope next time I come back every find

The check in counter staff (Jahan) was very friendly and we were given a free upgrade to their executive suite and it was a corner room with a late check out at 3pm. The room was very big with a separate living room area. They have two separate lounge area at level 3 for normal tea/non alcoholic drink with cookies/snacks. Their cocktail session is from 5 to 8pm at level 1. We went down at 5+ but there wasn’t any staff around so we have to wait for awhile before the staff is here to serve us. The drink menu consists of wine/beer/spirits and for food wise, there was a decent choice like popiah, spring roll ,mini chicken wings, kueh pie tee , cheese and fruits platter. Overall a good experience and will go back again .

Good: 1. Excellent Buffet Breakfast 2. Excellent Service of all Staffs encountered special mention to Billy at Concierge 3. Aircon cold Not so Good: 1. Family Room is not spacious 2. Balcony door hard to open as it has password 3. Bathroom very small for Family 4. No Bidet 5. Water heater faucet not functioning well, hard to adjust, and time consuming, ended up taking a bath with cold water.

Staff are very friendly and kind. Room is spacious and cosy. Shower area too open, water splatter everywhere when showering.
