In general, the room was pretty convenient and clean. However, there are few parts that were not cleaned properly and a little bit dusty. The headboards and the chair were a little bit dusty. Then, I noticed there was a bunch of ants on the desk when checking in

Bus stop just in front of the Hotel. Nearby there are many restaurants as well. Since, bus stop access is very important to me, I've repeatedly stayed in this hotel. You can put your luggage in the hotel after checkout then pick it up later while waiting for your departure.

Located at nice location, and convenient to the MRT stations, bus stations and convenience store nearby.

Very Bad maintainance of room 210 AC as it was leaking badly. We didint asked 4 assistance cz its the hotel responsibilty to make sure everyting is well maintain wen guests leave for the nxt stay-in guest. Below pic was taken during my stay. Hope the hotel staff will view my recording n recrify leaking problem.ASAP

I stayed at Value Hotel Balestier during a short trip to Singapore. It’s a budget-friendly option and delivers on the basics, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time out and about. The location is quite strategic—close to food stalls, local shops, and just a short walk or bus ride to the nearest MRT station. Very convenient for getting around the city without spending too much.

Clean and tidy , wide room ,close to the bus stop ,close to the restaurant,that's why very comfortable.

Ok for a short stay. I requested for check out a little later and it was granted. I even reminded the counter staff to put a note for the other staff for awareness so that I wouldn’t be disturbed. I also hung my “Do not disturb” sign at my door. But was very puzzled that there was still someone ringing the bell and knocking at my door twice at different intervals! Hmmm.. Oh well.. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I WILL NEVER SEE THIS HOTEL AGAIN! When we entered, the sofa bed (actually this is a folding mattress) wasn't prepared yet, I must unfolding it and put bed sheet by myself. The faucet and shower hose was leaking badly. Table was very dirty many stained on it, the closet very small it's more like a shoe cabinet. Broken towel hanger on bathroom door and rusty towel rack. The most important things for me staying at hotel is cleanliness, safety and all working bathroom (Not leaking everywhere).

Good stay for a budget friendly cost for an adventure trip in Singapore.

The room was clean, but quite small, and the bed was a bit too firm for my comfort. Check-out time was at 11 AM, which felt a little early. The hotel has a good location, but overall, I feel it did not quite match the value for the price paid.

This is my 2nd or 3rd tim booking this hotel as the place was extremely convenient. It has a bus literally outside the hotel to tourist attractions like the Marina Bay Sands etc!

The room is very small, just the room for sleep. The location of hotel is good, near whampoa food center. There is bus stop in front of hotel, but no mrt station.
