Very clean facilities, complimentary breakfast despite what the website says (fruit and bread). A little bit inconvenient as it’s not amazingly close to an mrt zhan, but still centrally located. There is the issue of that guy who lives there and thinks he owns the place, but he didn’t bother me a whole lot. Think of him as a really quirky traveler, and you’ll be fine. Overall solid place would stay again.

Nice environment, a little far from mtr station but near the bus stop, quite good value in Singapore

hostel was very nice. Pretty decent location near metro. Also surrounding have many restaurants and hawker center. Hostel was very clean and quiet and organized. I will choose this place if visit singapore.

I book for my ** friend during the Liverpool Vs Bayern game. He find it easy to go places from the hostel. Comfy bed and clean.

Good location and clean

For an affordable hostel this was very nice. Pretty decent location with lots of restaurants around, easy transportation. Hostel was very clean and quiet and organized. I enjoyed my time there and it was perfect for a few nights stay. However i have some concerns with the fact that reception is only from 9am-6pm. First i think a lot of people come a bit after 6pm and it would be helpful for someone to be there. While the instructions they left are pretty full proof and detailed. There was a man there named Pete who said he lived there and was friends with the hostel workers and was "just thelpjng them out". While it was a nice gesture, When i began to unpack some things in the hostel he proceeded to micromanage me about my things even though I was not in the way of anyone and moved my things to clear out space for more guests who came later. He try to intimidate me by saying he was a cop even though no crime was committed. He then proceeded to belittle not only me but other guests after me if they were from countries he didn't approve of (a guest after me was from China). He kept saying "Singapore is different then ur counties, it's cleaner or it's safer etc. or if u want to spread out ur things go to a hotel!" A hostel is a communal place and people do have to pack and repack things all the time. We didn't ask for his help but he was very rude and arrogant about rules even though he did not work there and we weren't breaking rules. I was a bit disappointed that he was my first impression of this hostel and Singapore. I think if there was someone there until at like 8pm maybe hostel guests like him (who give the impression he works there or knows the hostel owners) would be less likely to assume authority to people who don't need it. We are all adults and many of us are well travelled.

The bed is clean and cozy with great privacy, really nice experience for a shared space!
