Simpang Kanan Hotels with Gym

Hotel is basic. Price is reasonable for basic hotel. Things are a bit old. But the good thing is ventilation is working which I can't say the same for lots of other similar class hotel. Good value if you are not expecting sky for the price. Decent and will come again when I need just a sleep after a long drive. Thank you. Aircon is working. But seem like not inverter type.

Being a budget hotel, one cannot expect too much - overall this hotel is value for money - room is basic and sp**** but spacious with acceptable cleanliness. The hotel is next to an old shopping mall ( which had seen its better days) and a supermarket named “Target” which seems to be popular with the locals. You can either park outside the hotel or at Level 3 of the indoor carpark. A simple buffet breakfast is provided in the room package - mostly of local fares which was fine for us. Great view of the city and its surrounding hills from the upper floors.

We recently stayed at this hotel and the waiters we met were the friendliest we have ever seen, welcomed us very warmly and couldn't be more enthusiastic. I was just doing a research study to write a book, so the manager arranged for us a driver to take us to various places in the neighborhood. We were invited to have a halal dinner the first night, and the manager arranged for us to taste the local bibimbap the next day, which was all temporary. The hotel is spotless, very fashionable, and the price is worth it as a boutique hotel. Highly recommended, all staff fully represent the warm and friendly Malaysia!

We enjoyed the stay here very well. nice, large room, friendly, competent, professional staff, clean, good breakfast. so we stayed right for a 2. Night, and have looked at us the city and surroundings : for example, the Taman Recreasi Tasik Y Park in the middle of the dinosaurs, and the walk in the Soga Perdana Amenity Forest, where we also saw some monkeys. We are on a bicycle tour through Malaysia, our bicycles we could set in the hotel, in a neighborhood (trappearing house).

Booked 2 family rooms....comfortable n clean, aircon n toilets in good working condition,wifi good even with multiple devices logged on (several power sockets available in room). Hot cold water dispenser in corridor helpful. Counter staff friendly. Grab RM7 from town centre....had a v good sleep...zzzzzz

I was planning my Batu Pahat trip and searching for accommodation, then found many good reviews about this hotel; which recently just revamped the entire building. Totally agree with the reviews and it is even exceeding my expectations for a hotel like this in this small city. Greet by warm welcome immediately as I just arrived, the hotel lobby was so clean and chill. The room definitely marked 100% for me, which is very spacious and pleasant. They even provided complimentary snacks and drinks. If you need more drinking water, there's a water dispenser along the corridor as well. The bed is comfortable for me, with a side table to put your phone and stuff; plug necessary plugs to use. Smart TV is available in the room, which you can connect to Netflix and Spotify with your own account. There's even a mask sterilizer for you to keep your masks, coffee machine, small fridge, working table and safe in the room.

The service is good. Be careful with trip.com as i book for 2 rooms & also paid for 2 room but when i arrive at the hotel, they said they only receive a booking of 1 room & they even showed me the booking from their system. After 30minutes of discussing and i’m so lucky that night, someone checkout early and i get 2 rooms and the receptionist is very polite and helpful. Keep on apologise for things that is not their fault but i get a different room from what i booked but i think it is ok as all the hotel were fully booked. The door having problem which is nit functioning well but i just stay for 1 night so no problem with me. Others, i’m satisfied with the service and room. The room & toilet is very spacious and we have a good sleep. Thanks to the receptionist.

The hotel looks basic outside with stark 60s-70s box like structure but the insides are newly renovated, with sparkling spanking new lifts , and everything in rooms are new fresh mint clean and working. Brand new smart digital TV with thousands of stations world wide , and super strong super fast WiFi like your best office-grade internet service. Staff quick polite and attentive. Its a 3 star rated hotel that punches well above its official grading. Only down side is open air carpark with poor lighting at nite. Nice. I will patronize it again and again. Four thumbs up and smiles
