Ha Long Hotels with Airport Shuttle

As I wrote my last review, I was waiting for my transport back to Hanoi as Super Typhoon Yagi was well approaching. It just so happened that minutes before we were supposed to be picked up, the transport cancelled, leaving us stranded in Ha Long with nowhere to go. So I booked another night at The Yacht. It has BY FAR the best staff I have ever seen at any hotel. The storm was the biggest that’s hit Ha Long in decades and it caused ALOT of damage. The staff kept all the guests calm and assured and even switched our rooms from high floors for safety reasons. Thank you to Nga at the front desk, bye very special Thank you to Thao (also at the front desk). She made our very challenging couple of hours after the storm disrupted our plans (rebooking flights and hotels in Hanoi, dealing with transport and everything else) a lot less stressful. I cannot thank the team at The Yacht enough. Best hotel experience ever. Thank you all and I will be coming back.

Wonderful 2 nights stay at the DelaSea hotel. What I enjoyed most was the staff as they were all so caring and helpful. Highly professional. From the reception with Hoa taking special care of me not to mention ”Alice” and the others. Same at the restaurant. From the manager to the supervisors to the staff. I can't name them all here but they made my stay very special. Food was really good. Staff attention was ”phenomenal”. The room was great (I got one on the top floors facing the bay) and despite being a very noise sensitive person I slept very well. No loud music noise (it was on a weekend early November). The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was not noisy though very efficient. Good shower. I did not use the swimming pool but it looked great. By the way I was told that taking photos from the bay at sunset from the swimming pool is ”the thing to do” :) I can only praise the staff and the management for the wonderful hospitality even when super busy with big groups (which was the case during my stay). Based on my personal experience I definitely highly recommend the DelaSea hotel and it will be my choice next time I am in Ha Long.

I stayed at this hotel because I am familiar with Novotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. I got a 10% discount by using Trip Coins. I really enjoy es my stay at Novotel Ha Long Bay. 1. The room is extremely spacious. I would say that 3 people moving around would be no problem at all. The bed is also large. 2. The amenities are superb, I got all I need and some of those are eco-friendly items. 3. Not only the bedroom, the bathroom is spacious too. Wow! 4. The staffs are humble and understanding. At first I requested a late checkout until 12.30, yet I changed it to 13.00 because I just got back from my friend’s wedding. Furthermore, they always helping me order Main Linh taxi. 5. Squeaky clean!!! I love clean property!!! Unfortunately, there is no bidet. Indonesians use bidet daily. There is no option a of Halal food, yet it is okay, that is just common in Vietnam. Overall, my experience was impressive to the point I even take photos for the purpose of reviewing how good this hotel was.

The room is very nice, clean and hygienic... It is also very convenient for travel. The surrounding facilities are relatively complete. The front desk is relatively warm and hospitable. Communication is smooth and there is no problem at all. I recommend it!

The door of my room was a bit awkward, so it was a little harder when it was closed. The toilet was clean, fully equipped. The bed was clean and when I opened the room, my children said ”Mom, the room here smells so good” the location is quite nice and going to the beach is close. There are many shops around, so if you don't have a private car, you can rent a car at ksan, the price is also soft to go to foodtour freely. Personally, I like it from the price to the quality.

Most importantly, the host takes amazing care of the guests and helps with everything. If you’re still hesitating — don’t. This place is absolutely worth it.

Hotel location: Only about 750 meters away from the famous Sun World Halong Park, there are many hotels and restaurants around, and the transportation is convenient. Hotel facilities: 3-star hotel, complete and complete facilities, restaurants, swimming pools, laundry services, etc., but the facilities are old, such as the use of old-fashioned key locks. Standard room can't see the scenery because the wall next door blocks the view. Hotel service: The two front desk staff have good service attitude, good English, check-in and check-out are very smooth. Among them, the female staff can help book tickets for various attractions in Halong City, and there are discounts. The male staff can speak fluent Chinese. Although they are seriously stumped, they can communicate smoothly. If you go to Hanoi, Mong Cai and other cities, you can also find them to book tickets. The price is definitely more affordable than travel agencies. I have already inquired about the price, so please don't question it. Hotel meals: It is very unexpected that the room rate of more than 80 actually includes breakfast, and the breakfast is not only not perfunctory, but also very rich. You can choose from rice noodles, baguettes, fruits, coffee, tea, egg mushroom soup, pancakes, vegetable salad, etc., which are prepared according to the meal standard of 30 yuan per person. Eating a hearty breakfast, listening to soothing music, looking out the window, the slowly crawling cable car is like a Ferris wheel, this feeling is very refreshing! After the sun goes down, you can also go upstairs to swim. The swimming pool, the sea, the blue sky, the white clouds, the buildings, the bikinis, the scenery is beautiful. Such a good stay experience only cost more than 80 yuan. I once suspected that there was a number 1 missing in front of 80. You can earn money if you buy it, so what are you hesitating about?

The room was actually okay, but there was one issue that really frustrates me. I was traveling with three friends, and when we booked the room on Ctrip, it was configured with a king-size bed and two twin beds, which was exactly what we wanted. But after booking, we double-checked at the hotel, and it turned out they only had twin beds, not triple beds. We tried to book a new room, but they could only find it on a different floor, which was inconvenient. In the end, the three of us were squeezed into two beds, and we were charged an extra two or three hundred yuan for sharing a twin-bed room. What's frustrating is that I booked the room for three beds, but for that price, I only got twin beds, and only one room. Why is the room configuration on Ctrip different from the actual configuration at the hotel? I made a wrong reservation, overpaid, and my stay was compromised.
