The hotel itself is just ok. It's generally pretty scruffy. It has a VERY high occupancy rate and worn and grimy furniture is a product of that turn-over. With the exception of the manager the staff is especially friend, helpful and professional. The breakfast is quite good for a budget hotel. I had a suite and it was very roomy. The towels were plentiful and fluffy. The bed was firm. The sofa and chair were both ”well-used”. Separate semi-kitchenette counter, sink, and refrigerator. The refrigerator was missing some interior parts i.e. a bar on the door and the drain so water accumulated in the bottom of the frig. I've stayed there twice and would again because it's reasonably clean and.the price is great for St. Pete area.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful and accommodating this hotel is! The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, all with spectacular ocean front views, and cleaner than any place I've ever stayed. Not to mention the staff (front desk, concierge, room service, restaurant, gift shop, tiki bar servers, housekeeping, etc.) were ALL absolutely amazing! The plush robes in each room was a cherry on top- I wore that robe every time I was in the room lol! Slept with the balcony door cracked every night to be lulled to sleep by the waves as well. The location is perfect - within walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops, the pier, or the trolley stop. Beach is not in the middle of everything so it's not crowded at all. Random texts from guest services asking if we needed anything were always a little surprise- and if we responded with a text asking for anything at all, they were right on it. Truly one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in....cannot wait to visit again!
Idyllic location with sophistication, style, comfort and convenience of a luxury resort. Ocean-view suites, fine gourmet-dining, full service spa, 24hr Hyatt Stay Fit gym, pools and fountains, and only steps to the beach. Resort Fee 39.55 USD per room per nt includes internet access, incoming outgoing faxes, local 800 calls, local newspaper, pool chair towel service, 2 bottles of water, in-room coffee, comp self service laundry, poolside activities and games - i.e. ping-pong, foosball, Wii comp arrival beverage. Resort fee includes tax.

The room is large, with an open kitchen, pots and pans are all available. In the evening, I bought a steak in the supermarket and fry it. I cooked instant noodles in the morning. The pot is a pan and can't cook too much. The location is very good, going out across the road is the beach. Not far from 60 pier, but not near Wyndham. The 8th floor swimming pool view is good, some children's simple toys and mini bunkers, there is a small bubble pool on the 16th floor, the first day there is a wedding did not go in, the next morning there is no activity to open.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Hiatus for a weekend getaway, and while there were some positive aspects, I felt compelled to share a few important warnings for potential guests. Construction Noise First and foremost, be aware that there is significant construction happening at the hotel. Starting at 6 AM each morning, the noise can be quite disruptive. If you’re someone who enjoys sleeping in or needs a quiet environment to relax, this may not be the best choice for you. It’s a shame, as the hotel has a lot of potential, but the early morning construction work really detracted from our overall experience. Fire Alarm Incident To add to our discomfort, on our first night, the fire alarm went off at 2 AM. Understandably, this can happen from time to time, but what was concerning was the lack of response from the front desk. The next morning we asked the front desk for more information, but we received no acknowledgment of the incident. This left us feeling quite unsettled during an already stressful situation. While the Hilton has some appealing features—such as its location to the beach and amenities—I would recommend considering these factors before booking your stay. If you value peace and quiet during your stay, it might be wise to look elsewhere until the construction is complete.
GGuest UserI am taking the time out of my busy day to share my amazing experience while staying at this Marriott. As soon as I arrived at my room 414 I realize that the blinds were open and I tried to close them and I couldn't! I tried to ask for help from any of the staff members and there was Linda and I asked her to help me with this issue as I was afraid I might damage anything. She was so hospitable and eager to help me immediately and she fix this issue for me. She cleaned my room to perfection and I am so grateful that she is working in this hotel and it's a valuable asset to this property. Since I was alone and didn't know much about the area both Michael Keating and Rob Williams were so knowledgeable and very helpful. Michael helped me with the trolley information and Rob took me to the beach very very early in the morning. Rob have the most positive attitude and he loves what he does. I could clearly see that he is the biggest star. His personality shines as big as his smile and he made me feel so safe taking me at the beach and bringing me back at the hotel. He made me feel as if he was my big brother protecting and keeping me safe. And to me safety means everything especially because I always travel alone. Cassandra was very interactive and gave me compliment about my shoes and even though I was not a guest at the restaurant she made me feel welcomed and she took her time to acknowledge me and I appreciate her so much. At last Samantha the front desk manager took her time to listen to all of my bragging about the great service provided by everyone above and wrote down everyone's names that I have encounter during my stay as well as being polite , understanding and so professional. From all my heart I thank each and everyone of the rock stars that made my stay so pleasant safe and I am so eager to come back again at the near future. I hope that everyone will be recognized by going above and beyond because they truly deserve all the recognition for all the hard work that they do everyday. Thank you.
YYINGHUAThe hotel is very good, crossing the road is the famous white beach forbidden area by the sea. There is a supermarket downstairs and there is a place to practice surfing. The rooms are super large and the kitchen utensils are all available. The parking fee is small, and there is a tip for 27 knives a night.
Jjmcfarland84We stayed here for 2 nights following a fun but exhausting Disney World Trip. This was JUST what I needed after 5 days of walking around Disney! We booked two rooms for our family of 5. We had a ”in-land”/city view, which was beautiful in it's own. I dare say there is no bad view at this hotel! The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, at a Hampton Inn! Breakfast was good & simple each morning. As a diamond member, they waived my parking fee which was a nice, pleasant surprise as we did park on-site. We loved walking out the door and having our own private beach. Although it was a small area, it was private so it was nice. We stayed at the beach all day, and the water was warm & inviting. We had two manatees swim up to us one day, and it was really amazing! The fee for two lounge chairs & an umbrella was $20 per day, which wasn't bad considering you had it ALL day long. The sun was really hot, so we mainly used it for storing our drinks, towels, clothes, etc. It was worth the cost for some shade here and there. The pool area was nice as well to use after the beach and the water was equally as warm. We went to the bar in the evenings to have a cocktail and the waiters were friendly, and the wine selection was good. It was a nice outside area to have a cocktail. Everything here was very well thought out you can tell. The staff were nice and the property is VERY well taken care of for a beachfront property. I know how run-down beachfront properties can get with families that put a lot of wear and tear on rooms and public spaces, however this property is extremely clean & well taken care of! I will absolutely stay here in the future- it was a great first trip to Clearwater beach!
LLIYUNThe hotel is not very new, but clean and tidy. The pool and the restaurant on the first floor are very good. The restaurant has live music every night. It feels good to sit outside and listen to music while eating and watching the sunset. It takes about 5 minutes from the hotel to the white beach, personally feel very close, you can borrow beach towels at the front desk. There is a Kurig coffee machine in the hotel room, and the washing is Bath & Body Works. Overall, it is a hotel with a very good price/performance ratio in Clearwater. It would be better if the guest parking is free, now it is 25 knives per night, just go in and out.
JJeremy AndreHoliday Inn has definitely upgraded their properties since the last time I stayed with them years ago! The suite was clean and spacious. The breakfast was the run-of-the-mill options with a few hot foods. I especially enjoyed the Dove products that are present in the bathroom and shower.
GGuest User Our super group of girls came to stay for a night to check out Clearwater. We opened our room door and the overwhelming smell of cleaner hit us. We had to open our door and leave it open for hours to get the smell out. Others would have requested a different room, but we roughed it out. They clean with Fabuloso cleaner, which is very strong. I saw housekeeping pouring a big ole batch into a bucket in the morning. Ugh. We went out to dinner at Salties next door which was good, btw. When we returned, the air conditioner had leaked all over the tile floor. We cleaned it up and carried on. The pool was nice and clean. There’s a great ice cream shoppe on the property. I had cookie dough! Yum. This hotel is across the street and down the block from beach access. The pillows were floppy, shredded junk, but the beds were ok. The shower was good, but there was no view from frosted window. Not sure if I would return.
GGuest UserWas my first visit to Clearwater beach and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was a bit concerned about our choice of hotel but it really exceeded my expectations! Valentina, at the front desk, was so friendly and helpful! We had a great view of the water from our balcony and the room was everything we could want, comfortable beds, cold refrigerator, and good air conditioning. We never had a problem with parking the car in the hotel (free) lot. We loved the pool deck, right on the beach. The bands at Shephards next door were loud but when we closed the balcony door it blocked the noise. Actually we enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the music! Everything you need is in walking distance, restaurants, groceries, liquor store, and miniature golf. I wouldn't hesitant to book here again as it's a great value for this location.
GGuest UserI came into town for a business meeting and was very happy with my stay. It was nice and quiet in my room, considering the hotel is near a busy road. Anytime I need anything the staff was always there to please their guests. It was very nice to see a manager always around, checking on his staff, seeing if they needed help. Because of a good experience I would stay here again. Thank you.
SScenic17963721667Manager and staff were very accommodating and professional. Room was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. Great value and price. There were multiple fast food restaurants nearby: McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Burger King, and a fee others were all within 5-10 minutes walking distance.
