Apodaca Hotels with Shuttle Service

I spent 3 nights here and found the entire staff welcoming and accommodating. In particular, the evening bartender, Mario, was very friendly and quick to suggest delicious drink options. He was attentive to his fellow staff and customers as well, and very enjoyable to talk to. I will stay here again on my next visit.

Hampton Inn Monterrey Aeropuerto is where I stay when I travel to Monterrey! The staff is always warm and friendly, they treat me like family, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The property is located within a short walk to good restaurants and a 7-11 store and a short drive to the airport, either by shuttle or, typically be me, my rental car. It's my place to stay when flying in or out of Monterrey.

Staff were friendly and the rooms are nice and cleaned daily. The only issue I had was with the food, I ordered a steak with mash potatoes and although the steak was okay but not as hot as I would of liked the flavour was very good, the mash potatoes had a warm crust on the top but once I broke through that the potato below was cold and I mean cold as in it just came out of the fridge cold. I paid for my meal but didn’t leave a tip which upset the waiter a lot even though I told him I didn’t eat the potatoes as they were very cold. I then give him a cash tip as it was not him that cooked the meal and he had been very nice up until this point so he got what he wanted and I got my point across. I never ate in the restaurant after that.

Nice hotel with newer looking rooms. The rooms are vinyl plank flooring and spacious. The lights though seem poorly controlled and designed. The bathrooms include the large pump bottles of good masculine deodorant smelling shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner. Water never gets hot. Even with the AC off, the rooms are consistently 77F. There is no minifridge There is a pool, nobody uses it. It's hot and humid but it's indoors so that makes it unique. The location is a bit inconvenient as travel often requires a roundabout path that includes a highway turnaround. During afternoon rush hour, your car trip will take longer than if you walked because of the turn arounds and congestion headed towards the city. The front desk staff are probably the best around compared to any of the other hotels nearby. Multilingual and friendly. Unlike most other hotels though, they do not help with any currency exchange. If they did small amounts of currency exchange, had a minibar, and had a better location across the street, this would easily be a 5 star review.

We have stayed here before. Nice rooms, ok service. But we will NEVER stay here again, the last time we stayed, they sent us to the airport in a taxi that we had to pay when the hotel is supposed to have a shuttle service. Better to book at Best Western, they have a shuttle service and excellent service.

I have stayed here multiple times over the years and given good reviews. This trip, I just want to run away. One elevator is broken so their strange key card elevator system is unbearable. I usually use stairs, but they are off-limits here. The elevator requires each person riding to a different floor to enter their key and press their floor. Take to long and the elevator will just start moving. Last night I was cold and hoped to warm my room a bit. It was a great idea, but my room has no setting for heating. I froze. That was bad. The worse thing was to wake up in the middle of the night and realize the water wasn't working. I went downstairs to tell the front desk the water wasn't working in my room and was told it wasn't working anywhere in the hotel, but they hoped it would be fixed in a few hours. The desk person did kindly offer me an extra bottle of water. Why so I could need the non-functioning bathroom even more. This evening the sounds of a party below are blasting into my room. The noise level outside the door of the party maxed out at 92.5 dB. So in a little over an hour the people in the party room will start permanently damaging their hearing. In the meantime my room quiet is non-existent. I don't know what has happened to this hotel, but run away and stay somewhere else. I spend about 125-150 nights a year in hotels. This is the absolute worst of the year. I am a long term IHG Rewards member. The hotel's complete loss of service and skill is horrific.

I liked the place great people friendly easy access never had problems Price is decent food is great and their breakfast buffet was really good I’m sure their lunch menu also good. Unfortunately I did get time to enjoy do to my one night stay and early departure airport issues . But really nice place overall I would recommend

Located approx. 10 mins drive from MTY airport. Chose the hotel because of their shuttle as I had a morning flight to CDMX. Worked perfectly. Due to my status I was upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. Had all the aminities you expect from an airport hotel. As a plus, it was quiet. Premises were clean, staff friendly and helpful and food was delish. Would be happy to use this hotel again in in MTY.

They are in the process of refurbishing the whole place which means the reception area, bar and general space is either closed or a temporary fix in place. They needed to do something to modernize the place as there are many new hotels now in the local area. Thankfully there is a good restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. Water pressure is poor so showers not great. Rooms are nicely done and very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location for the airport and the industrial area around it.

Once I was outside the terminal with my luggage I called the hotel to see if the pick up service was available. The lobby assistant told me that it was available and it will take 10 to 15 minutes to pick me up. After 30 minutes I called again, and the told me that they drove by and nobody was there, but the shuttle was on the way. After 40 minutes I called, and I was told that the shuttle was full at another terminal and it had to go the hotel first to unload passengers. After 50 minutes I called and they said it was out to pick me up. Finally arrived and it took 5 minutes to take me to the hotel. I told the front desk lady that it was a very bad service and if it was going to take an hour, they should have told me that instead of having me waiting. I could have taken a taxi or going for a coffee. Then the driver shuttle jump in the conversation and said it was my mistake by not calling just when the airplane landed (maybe he does not know that the hotel policy is to call when you are outside the terminal). I told him thank you for your comments and I continue talking to front desk lady stating that this is not the Wyndham quality service. Then the shuttle driver jumped into the conversation and said that I was being rude to the ladies and he was going to call to police to have me arrested for yelling in the front desk. I told him to go ahead and call the police. Finally, after being threatened by the shuttle driver employee that was controlled by other front desk ladies, I check in and went to my room. I did not sleep at all. The front desk ladies were very nice and apologize to me for the inconvenience. Worst experience ever.
