GGuest UserI actually spent more than on a budget hotel to come here as I thought it would be more sociable. The reception staff are friendly and the bar area is nice. Bike storage is good although the door got left open a lot. The room was small, no problem, and clean, but had no chair and because of a protruding picture on the wall you couldn’t sit lengthways on the bed, only sideways. So in the bedroom you can only lie down or stand, effectively. Maybe I was unlucky but there was a group of schoolchildren who chatted noisily outside my room to 1130 when the teacher arrived to put them to bed. The kitchen was very small so it’s not like a uk hostel where most people cook and there’s lots of chat. The “chill out room” was set up as a meeting room, so not so chilled but at least somewhere I could sit down with my laptop, although 4 floors from my room. Oh and when I went to the restaurant, which looked good, I went in, no staff appeared, there were people eating there. I went to the serving hatch to be told the restaurant was closed. I couldn’t see any notice saying this. So ok, but not very cosy or comfortable.

This is a lovely hotel, with a very personal and tasteful decoration, situated in an old building in the city centre of Tours - so no elevators and loads of historical character. Beds and linen are very clean and crisp. Water cooker and tea in the room. Breakfast is very good as well, served in vintage china. The owners are sweethearts.

GGuest UserIn the complex apartment vote 7/10:wide,complete of everything, balcony,releasantly clean ; negative sides shower in bath, no air conditioning, mattress bed sofa, BAND THE MOQUETTE!! The hotel has a bell and a bell pool of water, and it is too hot, but the boys have enjoyed a half hour. Inflexible on check-in saying the room would be ready at 17:00, after a variety of hurry and laughs to take you around by them, carefully not to get the chief in the next office, They continued to postpone the allocation of the room .. and finally hand keys at 17.30. Check out is at morning .... Furthermore, I didn't understand the room number of the apartments, instead of helping me by writing them or by saying a number at once, she was shocked to continue to repeat the numbers in full in French. In addition to the fact that when I spoke to her in English to complain about the late room, they did not understand and started to answer me in this language.I'm sorry, but as a client I didn't like it at all, total lack of friendliness and professionalism.

Pros: location is close to the train station. Beds are comfortable. We didn’t eat here but there is a restaurant on site. Nice pool and steam room, but the jacuzzi is a cold bath. Cons: The concierge lost my spa reservation 2 hours after I made it and was unapologetic. Overall, they were brief and non-hospitable, which was quite a negative difference from the other places we have stayed in France. The facilities are very old. The hair dryer was poor and the coffee maker did not work well. There was no air conditioning in the fitness center and it was uncomfortably hot.

LLisa馨As a nostalgic kid who has gone back to studying in Tours for ten years, it must be said that this apartment has all the conveniences. It only takes 3 minutes to catch the train and it is very convenient to go to the castle and the city center. There is a mini kitchen in the apartment-style, where you can make your own tea, buy alcohol and make some convenient fast food. I booked the cheapest room type because I was traveling alone, but the room for me was facing the church bell tower, and the bed was super large and comfortable. It may not be as big as a big hotel room, but a typical French residence is like this. The sanitation is very good, but the catch is that there is no daily room cleaning.
