Shirahama Hotels with Pools

I had a great experience staying at this hotel! The view from our room was amazing and we particularly enjoyed the private onsen, which allowed us to unwind while watching the stunning sunset. The staff were all very friendly and polite, which made our stay even better. However, the hotel's location is next to the beach, which means you have to climb a slope to get there. It is also quite far from the JR station, and the only public transportation available is a 30-minute bus ride. Additionally, there are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so you might want to plan ahead for meals.

We stay in 4 people Japanese style ocean view. The room is too old and small, stains on wall and closet door. The bed is thinner than expected. Buffet breakfast has not much choice, swimming pools and many other things have to pay extra. All staff are nice except one guy in the game room area is very rude! Outdoor hot spring have many insects and have to walk stairs . Overall the stay is unpleasant.

The most satisfying hotel in the entire trip, it is worthy of being a century-old store, the staff is serious and responsible, the room is old but well maintained, and the sea view is also beautiful. After the hike, I came here, not only had a private soup, but also a rich dinner, highly recommended

The hotel will rotate the male and female baths every day, so be careful not to go to the wrong place; the breakfast is very good, standard and exquisite Japanese breakfast, seafood rice and grilled salmon are of great quality, and I am very satisfied with the food every day; there are also free sand digging tools, flip-flops, and towels at the entrance of the hotel lobby, which is very convenient to go to the beach; the best thing is that there is a self-service coin-operated washing machine, which only costs 500 yen. The clothes that the baby goes to the sea are washed and dried without having to carry dirty clothes for the next trip, which is very convenient! The disadvantage is that there are no bath towels in the hot spring bathhouse, and you need to bring them from the room yourself. I stayed for 2 days and went back to the room every day to get towels, which is very inconvenient. There are also no large bottles of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the room. There are only two simple small bags full of Japanese words, which are not enough. It is not very friendly to guests who take a bath in the room.

Shirahama's value for money ceiling. You can enjoy the hot springs in the main building, and it is very close to the popular restaurants and ramen shops. To the north, you can reach Shirarahama, and to the south, you can reach Sandanbeki. The room is considered large in Japan, and there are many shared facilities. However, the check-in time is strictly controlled after 15:00. If you arrive early with a large suitcase, you can leave it at the hotel first and come back to check in when the time comes.

The best resort I stayed in Japan, spacial thank you to the stuff at the front desk who had been super kind and helpful. The hot spring which overlooks the ocean is stunning, highly recommended!

Although I only stayed in Shirahama for one night, I canceled two hotels in succession and came to Haiyue after struggling. The bathing supplies are so meticulous that they provide socks and silk eye masks. The bathing pool is super clean, and there are all kinds of ice creams for free, and the meals provided are also very rich. Despite his busy schedule, Lao Bai also drove part-time as a tour guide to take us to visit the scenic spots. He showed his sincerity in every aspect. He is already thinking about coming to Haiyue next time when the weather is hot.

The location is relatively remote. When we got to the JR station, there was no free shuttle bus. We had to take a taxi. It was a bit disappointing that there was no station shuttle. Dinner is by reservation only. We didn't have a reservation for a hotel room or two meals. When we were hesitant about having dinner, the front desk staff was very proactive in providing dinner options. Finally, they took us to a Japanese and European restaurant in a big hotel on the beach, and even picked us up back to the hotel. Very thoughtful. The room size is okay. The hot spring on the balcony is very comfortable. It's not too refreshing to soak in while watching the sunset~ The breakfast is exquisite, and the must-have pickled plums, a specialty of Kishu, are delicious! I met a Chinese employee and chatted for a few words. It’s not easy to make a living alone outside.
