It’s a fantastic getaway for family specially with your family. You enjoy the location it’s quite nearby the Mall Road though walking from The Mall Road to hotel is advisable but you should ask the Driver to Drop you at the lift. 140 years old British Era property with a fantastic human touch, Hospitality is on next level, While Enjoying our Breakfast we requested Chef Raj Kumar Bhatia to surprise us with a Himachali Dish he made Special Chilta for us which we will remember as & when we will visit Himachal again. This was the most fantastic hotel and location. All of the staff from the front desk through to restaurant and porters were fantastic and friendly and helpful. Our room had the most amazing views over Shimla and the whole experience of staying here for two nights was amazing and we were really sad to leave and in fact when we arrived at our next stop we wish we were still at the Radison Jass in Shimla. What we loved: The property is rich with history and cottage-on-the-hill decor. The strawberry trail was incredibly beautiful ( take the evening-sunset guided tour and go on your own the next morning post sunrise) - the views are worth it. Kaushik at the Bar served us excellent drinks - try the buransh infused special & the old fashioned. Had a great time discussing the recipes with Kaushik - excellent service The open air jacuzzi is a must do. Especially under a starry night & the moon. What could have been better: The food was above average but fell short of all the great things we’d heard about it - but again to each their own The room with the balcony was okay-ish, balcony didn’t necessarily offer a breathtaking view ( although great to catch the sun rising from behind the peaks ) Overall an absolutely beautiful experience and a must do. Can’t wait to visit again!

I have stayed in this property for four days. I had booked this property by reading the good reviews. And i must say i had never regretted my decision. Everything was above the mark. The staff were very courteous and taking care of every minute derails. I will specially like to appreciate mrs. Rekha sharma ( executive housekeeper) for her professionalism towards her work. I had left my laptop ***** with my important documents at the reception of hotel during checkout. When i reached home i found that bag was not there. I called her and immediately she responded. The very next day she had sent her person mr. Gee-eta ram sharma to the courier office which was quite far from her place. All the packing with extra care has been personally done by them. People with such attitude towards their work are very hard to find in today’s world. They are the real asset z for their organization. I wish the entire team of mrs. Relay sharma all the best. Please keep the good work.

The room was small but enough for couples. Breakfast was good especially ch-ole bhature. Doors were good but very less light in the rooms we stayed. Washroom was hygienic but toilet paper was not provided. Cigerate packets were not left out uncleaned and room was had a smell of cigarettes which was bit uncomfortable for us. Even bed sheets were having the smell of cigarettes. Heaters and kettles were not provided but hot drinking water was provided.
