You enjoy the location it’s quite nearby the Mall Road though walking from The Mall Road to hotel is advisable but you should ask the Driver to Drop you at the lift. 140 years old British Era property with a fantastic human touch, Hospitality is on next level, While Enjoying our Breakfast we requested Chef Raj Kumar Bhatia to surprise us with a Himachali Dish he made Special Chilta for us which we will remember as & when we will visit Himachal again. This was the most fantastic hotel and location. All of the staff from the front desk through to restaurant and porters were fantastic and friendly and helpful. Our room had the most amazing views over Shimla and the whole experience of staying here for two nights was amazing and we were really sad to leave and in fact when we arrived at our next stop we wish we were still at the Radison Jass in Shimla. We had a perfect stay in snow valley resort . staff was very cooperative and humble in nature as we are travelling first time with our 1 year old child. we had great experience out there related to service as well as food and surely in future we will visit again.

What we loved: The property is rich with history and cottage-on-the-hill decor. The strawberry trail was incredibly beautiful ( take the evening-sunset guided tour and go on your own the next morning post sunrise) - the views are worth it. Kaushik at the Bar served us excellent drinks - try the buransh infused special & the old fashioned. Had a great time discussing the recipes with Kaushik - excellent service The open air jacuzzi is a must do. Especially under a starry night & the moon. What could have been better: The food was above average but fell short of all the great things we’d heard about it - but again to each their own The room with the balcony was okay-ish, balcony didn’t necessarily offer a breathtaking view ( although great to catch the sun rising from behind the peaks ) Overall an absolutely beautiful experience and a must do. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had booked 3 rooms for our family at Radisson Kufri from 30th April to 3rd May 2022. The property is new, clean and has a lovely view. I particularly liked the lobby which had an 'old English inn' appeal to it. The rooms are well-decorated and are decent sized. After reading some reviews on the internet, we had booked superior rooms but realized that they have a 'wall view'. Specially the superior rooms in the wing which has the restaurant are very dark because they have a wall very close to the window. If you are interested in a good view, then either request for superior rooms with valley view at the time of booking or book a delux room. We had one superior room in the restaurant wing which we were slightly unhappy about. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room in the other wing the next day after check-in and did not charge us anything extra for it. Really appreciate this! I would like to thank Siddharth, Aditya, Rahul and others for ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. Considering that Radisson Kufri is a five-star property away from Shimla town, expect the food prices to be on the higher side. But the restaurant amazed us with yummy food during our entire stay. The breakfast buffet had an elaborate spread and everything was delicious. We also tried the dinner buffet on our last night and were again not disappointed by the quality and taste of food. Special thanks to Chef Rajesh Rana for himself checking on with us about the food quality and also the complimentary beetroot halwa which was very tasty. One of the family members was fasting on one of the days and had certain dietary restrictions which were catered to well by the chef. Some things that the hotel can improve on in the future would be to add more staffs at the restaurant during breakfast (they are already working on this). The hotel can also carry out periodic inspections of the entire facility for regular maintenance. For example - There was a bit of a leakage into the bedroom from a small gap between the bathroom glass and the wall in one of the rooms that we stayed in. Other than these minor issues, the staffs at Radisson Kufri left no stone unturned to delight us regularly with their service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel. I will certainly choose this hotel in the future if I am visiting Shimla.

The moment we stepped into Shimla British Resort, we were in awe of the lovely antique furniture and beautiful woodwork that gave the place a true heritage feel. The cozy bedrooms were perfect for the chilly weather, and waking up to the cool Shimla breeze was so refreshing.
