We had booked 3 rooms for our family at Radisson Kufri from 30th April to 3rd May 2022. The property is new, clean and has a lovely view. I particularly liked the lobby which had an 'old English inn' appeal to it. The rooms are well-decorated and are decent sized. After reading some reviews on the internet, we had booked superior rooms but realized that they have a 'wall view'. Specially the superior rooms in the wing which has the restaurant are very dark because they have a wall very close to the window. If you are interested in a good view, then either request for superior rooms with valley view at the time of booking or book a delux room. We had one superior room in the restaurant wing which we were slightly unhappy about. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room in the other wing the next day after check-in and did not charge us anything extra for it. Really appreciate this! I would like to thank Siddharth, Aditya, Rahul and others for ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. Considering that Radisson Kufri is a five-star property away from Shimla town, expect the food prices to be on the higher side. But the restaurant amazed us with yummy food during our entire stay. The breakfast buffet had an elaborate spread and everything was delicious. We also tried the dinner buffet on our last night and were again not disappointed by the quality and taste of food. Special thanks to Chef Rajesh Rana for himself checking on with us about the food quality and also the complimentary beetroot halwa which was very tasty. One of the family members was fasting on one of the days and had certain dietary restrictions which were catered to well by the chef. Some things that the hotel can improve on in the future would be to add more staffs at the restaurant during breakfast (they are already working on this). The hotel can also carry out periodic inspections of the entire facility for regular maintenance. For example - There was a bit of a leakage into the bedroom from a small gap between the bathroom glass and the wall in one of the rooms that we stayed in. Other than these minor issues, the staffs at Radisson Kufri left no stone unturned to delight us regularly with their service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We thought that Taj hotels wrote the book on hospitality till we experienced the Oberoi hospitality. While I can wax eloquent on the quality of the food, the breathtaking views, the marvellous heated jacuzzi and pool and the sheer opulence of the hotel, I want to specifically write about the one thing that made the holiday memorable and that’s the people. While every single touch point, from the room service personnel to the f&b team, guards and gardeners made us fee special, a special shout out to Harpinder singh from housekeeping, Anamika,Suman and our dear Mrutiyanjay from the restaurant. While there were a few hiccups, what impressed us was the quality of service recovery. I truly commend Mr Sunit, the GM, for leading from the front. He was always around to receive feedback as well as provide solutions. Can’t wait to be back again!
Taj Theog Resort & Spa Shimla

During my previous stay at Taj Theog in May'24, I had shared feedback for improvements. In May'24 during my stay - Mr Sanket & Mr Amreek/Mr Sachin had met me well to absorb my specific inputs. This time - I was very pleased to see a ”lot of improvements across departments”. So, full credit to the GM Mr Sanket Chugh for his follow-up & for his great leadership. This time - I met several staff again & some of those who ”excelled” in their agility & their very warm & very efficient service include - Sachin Sharma (Sr. Duty Mgr), Amreek Singh (F&B), Bhandari Sharma (F&B-Tregopan), Pradeep (Housekeeping), Exec Chef Sumant Dantwal, Dina Parvin (Tregopan Serving Staff). All the above were visibly well-supported by their teams & some of the other key names of those who made our stay very comfortable & very enjoyable include :: Front Office - Rahul Pathak/Rohan/Ritiv/Ankit/Dinesh; Tregopan - Ashok; F&B Serving Staff - Neeraj Chandel/Tanisha; Chefs - Balbeer Rana ji, Nishant, Shah Rukh; Housekeeping - Anshu & Santosh. And, Like Last time - Travel Team's Driver Ajay Rajneesh was ”excellent” in safe driving & courteous service all through our stay. Gardner Durgaji gave a good Bageecha tour & Jitender courteously supported some of our outdoor activites. My best wishes to Sanket Chugh & to all in the Taj team including Amreek & the new Executive Chef Sumant & New Ops Head Rishabh :: I know there is a focussed effort to further improve the infra & service delivery in many areas & that will make Taj Theog an even better resort ::)

We went there for our anniversary and the hotel staff made it really special. The room was great and spacious with a traditional wooden decor. The food was good too. I would have loved more local cuisine on the breakfast menu though. Overall service was excellent. The location of the property is really convenient. The mall road is 20 minutes away walking distance. Lot of places around for a stroll or a jog. Be aware of monkeys though. They will chase you if they see some eatables on you.
